The Kobold offer is going to be cents on the dollar in the current environment and proceedings. There is no way they're going to say to AVZ "sure, we'll pay you the $10B you think it's worth".
The only way the offer will be fair value is if Felix the pussycat personally signs a decree granting the ML and a clear path forward co-signed by one of Donald Trumps delegates with military backing. Anything else is not worth chicken shit.
ICSID retraction would be business suicide, I'm pretty sure Nigel aint stupid.

This all sounds quite positive, but I can't imagine Nigel accepting poor compensation in favour of a much-anticipated end to this odyssey.

The ICSID procedure is currently AVZ's strongest and only legal lever to regain its full rights!

As long as there is no watertight deal that protects the interests of the shareholders, the ICSID proceedings should not be stopped. It is the best safeguard against a rotten compromise.
Felix has ripped us off for years, why should he act differently now?

My read on it is different, Kobold are probably going to need raise capital, its not like Bezos will self fund the acquisition. I think this is more a presales wet the appetite for American investors.

So... while it would be advantageous for AVZ to exit, they are cashed up and can see through any legal disputes now, right into the peak resurgence of the next lithium bull run, where as they acknowledge its massively in DRC/US interests for quick resolution and production (target 2028)... very favourable for our negotiations "shit or get off the pot" deal making.

We all know how good the asset is thats why we are here, Kobold also seem to acknowledge it (its pure porn for their AI mineral targeting technology). I dunno, we have come this far, lets just see how talks go... if it all falls apart management can resume legal challenges as necessary.
The return on investment for lithium and tin after 3 years of production out of Manono more than covers AVZ T/O .
IMO Kobold wants the fair negotiated value to be acceptable to AVZ
Also TRUMP needs to be seen win win in the DRC
The LOBITO investment needs MANONO
I am confident in NF for a very good deal.
What actually is the basis for Kobold to evaluate AVZ's binding interests in Manono project and at which size? --> 60, 75, 90% ... complete 13359 or partial ... or are they talking about the Manono Extension project ... Depending on this Kobold or whoever is just able to quantify a bid.

Kobold is no miner - for DRC this is a door opener but no solid base that material can be value added locally. Kobold will just develop the project.

They still call it 'Manono Lithium deposit' ... not mentioning it in the original version ... they forgot the Tin.

Who are 'AVZ development' partner they will work with cooperatively? ... Cominiere?

This all is at the same level of 'Declaration of Principles' between DRC and Rwanda. JMO

This is the kind of cash that KoBold can associate with (not including the other investors they have recently mentioned) 👇

Jack Ma worth US$28 billion
Bill Gates worth US$107 billion
Jeff Bezos worth US$211 billion
BHP worth AU$190 billion
RIO worth US$102 billion
Elon Musk worth US$327 billion

Total = Around $1 trillion

I think AVZ’s 75% ownership is still to be proven in the ICC which could take some time and I wouldn’t be surprised if KoBold use this as another excuse for a discount as well as wanting AVZ to sign a deal before the ICC proves beyond doubt our full ownership of 75% of Dathcom

I also suspect they will get the fat thief to sign the agreement as quick as possible so they can move fast with a negotiated offer. I personally wouldn’t lose any sleep if the fat idiot’s plane went down on the way to the US for the signing. For three years I’ve stayed positive and for some reason KoBold comes along and I just don’t trust them

Time for me to drop a few mercyndol and neurophen plus so I can sign off here and hopefully not look at TSE again at least until tomorrow. Pity your not here to mix me a few of your famous 2 litre jug mixes of margaritas to wash them down @Xerof

Kobold can say whatever they want, I'm sure I won't be the only shareholder who'll be happy to leave some money in the AVZ coffers to sue the fuck out of zijin for damages. Fuck those lowlife Chinese assholes to hell and back.

@Dave Evans

Mate, I’m battling a bad dose of Covid, which I have duly handed over to my wife despite precautions. Been 10 days now and still reeling from it. Bastard. Got it 2 days after getting back from Dubai, so possibly a strain not covered by recent vax.

Rest assured I’ll be back on the Margherita bandwagon soon enough.

I can see the situation is going to be analysed to death for the next couple of months, so I might stay in bed for the duration

In Nige we trust

I see Shane is having psychotic episodes on X - needs some Li

No simultaneous announcement from our management with Kobold just dropping this on Linkedin is kind of bonkers.

Assuming all hands of the skeleton crew are on deck 24/7 right now, which I am more than ok with.

So AVZ was/is prepared to go the distance with Cath's backing to get a mine (and have the plan). Its Kobold / US / DRC that are advocating for a quick/quiet exit. AVZ are willing to do whats right and legally defend our rights (and we raised the funds to do it), not whats quick BUT AVZ are willing to do whats quick if its in the interest of shareholders. They know what we have, they are the guys that measured it, that built it, that did all the work and then got sidelined by "circumstances".

Basically what is playing out now is what SHOULD have played out 4 years ago when China was the only game in town and the US was asleep at the wheel on critical mineral supply, US have FINALLY woken up and I think we are about to see just what US overkill is. Remember there is hundreds of billions of dollars in Manono and many TRILLIONS at stake in Africa, we are the ones being woo'd away from Cath/CATL and over to the US.

I want to add that we all get flown to Manono to be personally handed our cheques.

Followed by a the formation of a Congo line (sic) led by Nigel to the Northern boundary of the Southern tenement where we all get to simultaneously piss over the border, flooding the northern tenement and forever tainting Zijins stolen lithium with ammonia.

P.s. Fuck Zijin

Dan, drc is hell on earth. I wouldn't even go there if I had to pick up my cheque!
By the time you left the money would be embezzled anyway.

The cheques are just those rediculously large ceremonial novelty cheques, the real purpose of the ceremony is pissing on the tainted ground.

And let's not forget...even in a delisted company, the company needs approval of the majority of shareholders to pursue with a buyout price. Specially the Chinese shareholders want top $$$ ....and there are plenty of them I can spot on the last Top 20 shareholder statement from 2024

Screenshot 2025-05-08 at 20.39.21.png

Kobold have to come up with a decent offer asap, what Nigel and the most shareholders can't reject... otherwise, we know what dirty games the Chinese can play...dangle a few carrots and through in a few brown paper bags.... Its unusual quiet in the Chinese whispers game imo...
I don't think CATH are out of the game....specially financing AVZ's court cases. There must be more to the game...
Are we getting a Bidding war?...Let's see how it all pans out....minimum all times high share price that nobody looses out ...IMO
Screenshot 2025-05-08 at 21.02.50.png

At least this would be a great starting point....are you reading this Kobold Metals?
Plus Compo from ZIJIN could may be reached in further court cases after the buy out...as a slight possibility...

No, no, no. This is not a buyout of the company we hold shares in. An asset the company we hold is being sold. What's then done with the proceeds of that sale will likely require a special general meeting and a vote by shareholders but your claim is wrong.

This posted on the crapper, by someone saying there's a lot of fake stories around....so I bloody well hope this isn't accurate as it would be a pitiful compensation for the health and financial stress of being put through years of this debacle. ICfuckingSID all the way if this is an accurate figure imv..
