“On or about 24 December 2021, the Criminal Court in Lubambashi handed down a judgement, with Dathcom and Mr Johnston in absentia,to the effect that:•the new share certificate along with the new shareholders’ register bothidentifying AVZI as a 75% shareholder of Dathcom wereforgeries;•Mr Graeme Johnston (as the managing director of Dathcom) as well as the registrar of the RCCMwere complicit in that forgery;•Mr Graeme Johnston was sentenced to threeyears in prison; •Dathcomwas ordered to pay damages ofUS$50,000,000; and•the updated share certificatealong with the new shareholders’ register issued by the RCCM be destroyed.”
We know that this is all rubbish but why didn’t AVZ notify shareholders of this?
Graham then in January, less than a month later sells approx $ 800k of shares. I think that needs to be investigated.
I am a long term holder with a lot invested and this really pissed me off.
Pure speculation on my part, but they will try anything. If they can get rid of AVZ than manono is up for grabs.
Just my thoughts

Maybe AVZ called the feds in because they felt like they were being hacked or tracked or bugged or something? Maybe they were there for us? No one knows!

Nothing to see here, we continue to wait for AVZ turn to shine in the midst of deep, deep....

:poop::poop::poop::ninja::ninja::ninja::devilish::devilish::devilish:
Mate the federal police don’t raid offices because of an anonymous call. Sorry but I doubt the Chinese could call the feds and get them to raid us! On what grounds? But also if this is the case. Then why is Nigel not on the email explaining exactly this. Just seems to me with this BOD. They are overpaid and disrespectful to the fact that 20000 people have given them substantial amounts of money.
Incorrect, Federal police can and do raid offices based on a substantial but unproven claims.

Obviously I don't know the justification provided, but a clever person could provide a story or falsify evidence to police, even stating that they received an 'anonymous tipoff' or anything in-between to trigger this. Our constant failing is a lack of imagination within this game.

If I was in the BOD position, I would have been doing absolutely everything above board for the last 3 years given the scrutiny of shareholders, governments, ASIC, enemies ect.. My point being, in my opinion, it's more likely this has been triggered by malicious actors rather than illegal activity by the BOD.

And to those of you who are saying 'Why haven't management responded yet?' - I am sure this, like many things over the past 2 years has blindsided them. Again underestimating how low our enemies will go. I imagine they are seeking legal advice, making their own enquiries and cooperating with police before providing any official response.

As I said RHyNO, just because you lack imagination doesn't mean our enemies do.

I don't want to be specific here and give anybody ideas - but there are absolutely ways to trigger an AFP raid through spurious and underhanded means. All of this will end up being a waste of police time.

It's all part of 'Unrestricted Warfare' to disrupt, distract and demoralize - of course the AFP won't find anything, but the headline is already out there.

And the headline 'AVZ Offices Raided by AFP' was the entire point of their operation.

I have a few thoughts on what they may try next..

So, its ok for the Australian Govt to support Iluka in its moment of crisis, but not AVZ, both bellwether coys in the critical mineral space with the latter posing the bigger dilemma if it falls in the wrong hands.

Oh, thats right, i forgot..... Iluka is ASX listed and AVZ aint, its a private coy ( thru no fault of its own ) , so stiff shit.

Yep Albo, that makes perfect sense.

Cunt.

So there's some wind that the Fat Tail blobs of puss hoped to get the AFP raid to occur before the AGM was held, and to then conduct some bullshit manouver at the AGM.
But they failed and were a no show as a result....
So sad boys.
So so so so so sad....

I can't be 100% with this info, but it coincides with what I could work out myself.
I'm not expecting to hear anything from the feds as a result of this raid, it seems it was all for show to facilitate a manouver against the BoD that we never saw play out.

*Shrugs*
Fuck em, we're now funded to nail them to the 10 billion dollar wall.
It's going to take some time, but they're set to sweat like utter MFs.
Crack a tinny, relax, and let this play out.

....The federal police said so......
Mate. I was joking. I’m just making the point that until the AFP or AVZ come out and say what has happened, none of us have any idea. Anyway sounds like we have a solid theory based on what Azz said - makes sense. I’m just as sick of this shitfuckery as anyone. Will stop saying dumb stuff in here to quell my mood…

If anybody has a legitimate source about the reason for the AFP warrant (and I'm sure AVZ will be taking this to their lawyers - which is why they are currently silent on the matter) - and the reason is due to a false claim from Carrot dick et al, please lodge the complaint here.

You have a right to complain about our perceived failings or issues that affect you. We welcome and value your feedback but won't accept unreasonable complainant conduct.

Under section 40YB of the Australian Federal Police Act 1979 (Cth), it's an offence for a person to give information relating to a conduct or practice issue which they know to be false.

If you make threatening or abusive statements that indicate a risk of harm or violence, we can either:

  • deal with your conduct if it is within the AFP's jurisdiction
  • report your conduct to the appropriate state or territory authorities, including state and territory police or other law enforcement bodies.

I can't see the Australian Govt riding in on a white horse to save AVZ shareholders. They won't care unless the resouce happened to be located in Australia, which is probably understandable given shareholders are the ones who chose to invest in the DRC.

Was ok for Australian Govt to stick their beak in with the FIRB when it suited them.

Retrobyte,

Both the Western Australian Government and the Australian Federal Government need to care because if AVZ loses control of the Manono Mine then it will be very detrimental to the lithium mines in Australia. The WA Government has allocated funding for WA Lithium Mines but that will be useless unless they back AVZ.

Forewarned is forearmed as they say.

It is not a very good look if an Australian Company gets support from overseas Governments because its' own Government wont support it.

Its detrimental to Aus miners regardless of who the miner of Manono is.
And when FIRB stepped in that was a positive for the company at the time.

Don't believe we will get any help from Australian Federal Government. To get involved it would need to explain why and that would require criticizing China's involvement. That is not going to happen. We have just won back crayfish, wine, beef contracts. Albo is not going to put that at risk again. Albanese said "We will cooperate where we can, disagree where we must and engage in the national interest." Albo is too weak to act on that statement.

This makes sense, as Carrick was always Parrotting on about AVZ's allegedly fraudelent activities, throwing various shit claims at the wall to see what might stick. I'm reasonably confident that they must have packaged up enough dirt or claims of malfeasance that read bad enough for the AFP to act and investigate, but will turn out to be baseless.

Nothing to see here IMO, just another angle to the Fat Tail maneuverings, both in their own interests and that of their foreign backers.
