So this company is looking to acquire up to 20% of AVZ shares on issue, but only from institutional holders.

Interestingly, if a foreign entity plans to acquire 20% or more of an Australian company, FIRB approval is required. This requirement applies to both listed and private companies.

Neville, the airport sniffer dog thinks the Chinese are behind it. Neville has a good track record.
Lol. How many shares are needed to topple the bod in the conditional resolution after the second strike again?

This should get the Chinese enough to win at the AGM. Sneaky af but quite smart playing this angle to instos that will just want it off the books imo

And just ahead of EoFY so that institutional investors can divest their shares at a loss, and in the process offset capital gains made elsewhere.

Presumably, they didn't write to me because my Li-exposed portfolio is already a sea of red.

It won’t be finalised until the new FY though after July 1. So even if it’s off the books won’t be claimable till next FY.

Wouldn't you just wait and see what happens in the new FY?

Could potentially be the CHESS to SRN conversion from the super funds. Their ops teams won't have a standard template that covers delistings, could be why it appears as a 'takeover'
Well guess I was wrong🤦‍♂️
Should have known the 3 musketeers retards hadn't just disappeared into the ether

I’m curious as to why they assign a high degree of urgency to this offer

Kudos to you fellas, with the level of intelligence and commitment we have from shareholders here, these stooges get caught every time. It makes me really proud to be involved in this when I see how quick you fellas dig up the facts and expose these arsewipes

Pretty sure Nigel will be bringing this up if these clowns still decide to go to the WA Supreme Court
