On behalf of the Minister of Industry, Julien Paluku, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Saturnin Wangwamba closed the DRC-Africa Battery Metals forum which was held from September 20 to 21 in Kinshasa. This very high-level meeting had the theme: “creating wealth in the value chain of the battery metals industry in the DRC and Africa”.

In his closing speech, Saturnin Wangwamba wanted to thank all VUKA Group staff and all the partners of this forum for the efforts and logistics made for its success.
Also, he said, the Ministry of Industry recognized the expertise of all participants, moderators, panellists and speakers for their individual contributions to the coordination of relevant and constructive suggestions in the advent of a manufacturing industry. battery in Africa.
“I salute the spirit of fraternity, collaboration, sincerity and mutual trust which characterized the exchanges during these meetings, more particularly the presence at this forum of the Zambian Minister of Mines and the provincial Minister of Mines of Tanganyika, who personally wanted to take part in this forum,” he said.

For the Ministry of Industry in the DRC, the time is not for speeches but for concrete actions proving visibility in terms of reliable infrastructure and effective provision of the measures taken for exploration, exploitation, production of battery metals, construction of product evacuation roads, manufacturing and its operation.
Also speaking on behalf of the DRC, the Ministry of Industry invited Congolese economic operators and other foreign investors to fully commit to the battery and electric vehicle manufacturing industry.

For the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, this forum suggests to the DRC in particular that the establishment of a road map is more than vital in terms of commitment to the path of the battery value chain that everyone wants first.
According to the representative of Julien Paluku, the participation of everyone in this event demonstrated to such an extent that they themselves are initiators, each has their own level of commitment to the avenue of batteries and electric vehicles in Africa and particularly in the DRC and Zambia.

He reassured participants that the recommendations resulting from this forum will be transmitted to the Minister of Industry, Julien Paluku for their consideration by the Government of the Republic.

For two days, participants reflected on the value chain of batteries and electric vehicles during the activities of this first edition of the Africa forum on battery metals. The discussions focused on the main question of how to create wealth in the battery metals value chain in the DRC, Zambia and Africa.

Very interesting reading Comminieres dialogue on Twitter this morning.
I was a bit concerned he'd gone back to saying AVZ own nothing, but this morning shows he's got nothing and it's just bluff.
He's asking for AVZ to continue discussions with them in order for the project to move forward.

He's been kicked out of the room (and hopefully the project) and is carrying on to try to get back in.
AVZ (IMO) no longer give a shit about Comminiere because they've been shown or assured that they no longer matter and are irrelevant to the project.
Good things are on their way, NFI the time frame though.

I've had a gutful as well, fkn over it.

On another note, Cominiere back on twitter overnight asking avz to re-engage negotiations (another stalling tactic no doubt) - let's go to ICC and embarrass the fuck out of them and the DRC

doc, not sure if you're serious or not, havent called the number. like azzler says we've all had a gutful and in my case I am desperate for this to be resolved, I've got so many things depending on this its not funny. even still, I'm not going to let those fuckers win if I can help it, its just not right and goes against my value system to see these corrupt bastards get their way. I'll keep holding on and hoping in vain until the end. each to their own though and understand everyone's situation is different. If I may say, stay tight and keep the faith.
Hi mate, appreciate the reply.
Just having some fun to pass the time to be honest with that number. Am I over it, absolutely but looking at the big picture ( thanks mainly to moneybags et al ) I can appreciate what a hostile climate the BoD are working in and kudos to them for continuing the fight and I’m behind them to get some resolution from this. Good appointments today certainly help that thought.
Onwards and upwards AVZers, back the board we got or gtfo I say.
