Deleted my response to that prick, I am hearing some positive rumblings going on out the the DRC post China trip - will keep it close but has provided some relief (extremely hesitant and pessimistic as any $avz holder would be)

Spill, mutherfucker!
Just a little skeptical this is more fluff and BS . Bit like the Green Grub . How about they use evidence that is available and bypass the group picnic and go straight to a court of law . Let a lawyer drill him , not his mates . And if you are going to call me a mutherfucker at least spell it correctly you Kunt .😀

I don't understand your response. I have been away from AVZ content for a few days and the two names I have mentioned are being referred to by multiple parties.

Yeah actually i've following Timb89 for years - he isn't a troll and apologies mate - Gecamines is the state owned mining company in DRC - Sico is the chinese counterpart who rips everyone off. Unsure who runs/manages Gecamines or if they're known offenders. Cheers.

Don't stress. Likewise to you on twitter. Things move fast here. Keeping up with AVZ is a full time job.

I saw Gecamines mentioned a few times on twitter. First time I've heard of them.

And was someone from Cominiere bought in front of the National Assembly? I can't find any clarification.

"NGOs are informed of an arrest of Cominiere by a deputy in
@AssembleeN_RDC
about his sale of 15% in Dathcom to the benefit of Zijin.
@IgfRdc"

I noticed Franck Fwamba mentioned it, he's usually spot on. People are confused as to whether something was lost in the translation regarding "arrest" or "summoned"?

If it's a good outcome and If JV splits are being redone I wonder if mgmt are working behind the scenes to renegotiate and seek funding again so that more ducks are in a row when this opens.

Would be a bit messy for the market if we open with an ML and new JV but then have to wait awhile to work out how we're going to go mining.

*Fyi, In other News i see where Belgium has it's eyes firmly planted on the DRC atm, as

DRC-Belgium cooperation issues discussed at the Presidency of the Republic

Issues of cooperation between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Belgium were at the center of discussions between the Head of State and a delegation of Belgian parliamentarians, Thursday at the City of the African Union, in Kinshasa, learned the ACP of this institution.

“President Félix Tshisekedi discussed this Thursday with a delegation of Belgian parliamentarians led by Mrs. Els Van Hoof, on the cooperation project between Belgium and the DRC”, indicated a tweet from the Presidency of the Republic.

“The aggression of the DRC by Rwanda via the M23, about which the delegation reassured the Head of State on greater involvement of the #EU, corruption and the elections of 2023 were also discussed “, we also wrote.

The delegation visiting the Congolese electoral center

Previously, this delegation of Belgian parliamentarians had recently been received at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI).

“If there is a need at the financial level or at the level of observation, we are there to assist the ongoing electoral process”, declared the president of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Belgian Parliament, Els Van Hoof, at the end. of the audience granted by the 1st vice-president of the central electoral office, Bienvenu Ilanga.

“The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Belgian Parliament is closely following the ongoing electoral process from Belgium.

For us, it is important that there is a consolidation of democracy in the DRC, and the CENI is responsible for the electoral process,” she reassured.

"There were some concerns, especially about the places where people did not enroll due to insecurity, and the question related to the non-existence of certain registration centers", she further underlined, ensuring that his delegation had received a very good explanation from the 1st Vice-President of the CENI.

Questioned, summons, interrogated, whatever rings your bell, but no one gets fucking arrested in front of 500 sleeping senators in the National Assembly

And I agree with whoever said he should just be thrown in a cell and interrogated

For all we know he might just join a fucking Zoom meeting

And furthermore, why are my testicles tingling?

Can't get the ML without funding being sorted under Article 71 (b) of the mining code

Why not just answer my question directly if you know the answer as opposed to spending time on this comment.

Like Vladimir, both hands on the desk.

I think Putin keeps his hands on the desk cause he is afraid some sneaky Ukrainian, or Wagner ex-convict might nick it, it is of course also helpful to control other urges.

Also on the Gecamines front - i believe CMOC has far more sway than ZJ in the red state. Their issue over TFM was basically resolved through sheer political will.

The state visit could have discussed something to a similar effect for our project. DRC keeps China on side to a degree by letting CMOC in while removing the fucking dunce CKK, and everyone gets to flip the bird to ZJ and tell em to get fucked.
