I think the troll - discord element has been here in the background for a long time Doc and if nothing else the last weeks (and the last week in particular) reminded everyone here that the snakes are always lurking in the undergrowth. Probably a good reminder, and we know teabag lurks here.

I’m sure @9cardomaha is now even more cautious with his information, it’s a fucken shame that there are so many trolls in the world that sow seeds of mistrust and shareholders like you have been affected, but those trolls never win in the end

It may be 12 months old cruiser, but in the ICC case ZIJIN / COM ( claimant ) v AVZ ( responder ), the claimants believe Dathomir are a part of Dathcom JV ............so still relevant in the eyes of the corrupt

What cracks me up with that Boatman pie chart........is the dumb pricks think CATH is part of the equation, which of course its not , cause thats encumbent on AVZ obtaining ML and having 51% control minimum.

Whats interesting, is that ZIJIN / COM aint happy about CATH being in the equation at all..........

The thing is he doesn't need to go to china to screw over AVZ if he wanted to.
And china don't need to meet in person to offer bribes.

I think we're all imagining them getting together for poker, getting loaded and laughing about old times, then they bring in the girls. Afterwards throw an arm around a jolly DRC president and smiling with a fat brown paper bag offered say, "so how about that silly old mine in Manono?"

They're a major partner with the DRC with business and all that, a trip there is completely normal.

Keep this in mind, a major part of the visit is in regards to the predatory deals china has in the DRC mining sector, and all that negative attention is good for us non chinese who have offered everything above board, and fair.
In the midst of this diplomacy and renegotiation with respect to china not doing the right thing, imagine them offering more bribes for Manono!
It wouldn't go down too well.

They are welcome to take Manono legaly at a fair price, if they want the thing at all costs, there is always that.
No doubt they will apply pressure to get what they want, and that's what they've been doing in the past to get the mining deals that favor them.

It's possible he might even be asking them to tell Z to back off so they can get this thing into operation.
His ministers are implicated in this corruption with Z, and China are likely holding them to the fire over this.
I believe it's in Felix's best interest to negotiate a way for them to back off.

Screwing over AVZ will be very bad for them, particularly with the USA suddenly in the picture.

Actually that makes me think, part of the visit would be diplomacy about the USA entering into the DRC, as china would be spewin' about that.
It all needs to be smoothed over form the perspective of the DRC.

In all fairness none of us know the outcome of this trip , even the most knowledgeable members are rolling a dice. I’ve lived and still work in Asia for the past 35 years and most Asians (that actually know) sum up dealing with China and Chineses as dangerous! That's a powerful word and not used on any other country.The Chinese past emperors believed all roads lead to China and the CCP still believe that. Its their vision and controlling the battery supply chain one of a few projects they are all out in accomplishing. Now DRC - Having worked with many South Africans they explain the tribal mentality throughout Africa. The Chef always wore the most impressive cloths and owned the biggest lands. That’s how it still operators and the Chefs are now minsters and have you seen the outfits these guys wear and their salaries are what? 2000 a month? The point is , it’s semi excepted all this corruption and in some cases respected and I’m not disillusioned by thinking FT not involved. Saying all that , I believe AVZ played this right and refused to play ball. Cominere been quoted as calling us a minnow explorer and thought we would roll over with support from MOP and maybe MOM. They are now understanding they have dug a hole and the whole world is watching. I’m quietly confident and worst case scenario a low ball TO will be completed around 4-5 billion US and best case is we go mining with a controlling %.

I have often said Chyna needs DRC , more than DRC needs Chyna, DRC have alot of other options to improve their standard of living and FT needs to strike some major blows if he wants to be re elected, so far from my naked eye he has done fuck all, but maybe I have under estimated him and he has a swarm of positive news ready to hammer out.....
