When history judges this exact moment in time for the DRC, future generations will critique the actions of those in the present and whether they stood on the right side of history. If I was Kibeya, I could not look at myself in the mirror, knowing that my kids / grandkids / future generations will learn of his treason and treachery against his country. This is eternal hell! .... and FT, will they judge him in the same ilk as Nelson Mandela or Idi Amin?, his time is now.

He can be a 40 grade sandpaper at times to pricks (see I have changed from kunts), but has ever only been a 220 grade with me. But then I'm a level headed, even tempered, single persona prick, with a prick
I preferred you before

How would that impact the ICC arbitration of AVZ vs ZIJIN?

From the announcement "Arbitration Proceedings Update and Interim Financial Report Clarification" 22 March 2023:
AVZI remains of the view that its jurisdictional challenge will be successful, which will affirm that Jin Cheng does not have the right to instigate the ICC arbitration proceedings against AVZI under the Dathcom Joint Venture Agreement (JVA), since it is not a party to the Dathcom JVA.

Is this still valid? Or would that change if ZIJIN is in the Trade Register?

What is “Trade Register”? Then you might have an answer

This may be the reason why one of AVZ employees I was talking to last week was sounding very upbeat. Anyway it was an uplifting chat.
AVZ shareholders have gone through a few messianic signs, first was in 2018 waiting on a corporate transaction with Guru Langford, then in 2019 on the cusp of the ‘Patto raise’ hearing about Tesla, an old EU rich family, Japanese…the list goes on

Unkind shareholders say I rub people the wrong way…. Like you I’m just misunderstood 😉

Mate, I reckon you would be a Joe Cocker fan.

And?......

WTF is that comment worth to any LTH here??

I'm sometimes aiming for at least a bit laugh or to lighten the load with some humour

Maybe you should stop rubbing people full stop, some can handle a punch below the belt better.

Absolutely love that song Flight. Also love all his other songs as well as Leon Russell songs who Joe toured with on the Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour.

Love The Animals as well who’s version of the song was a classic. Probably reasons I find a lot of comfort in spite of what’s happening with AVZ. I was born in the 60’s and I can always go back in my mind and dwell in the music, flared jeans, platform shoes and the music and bands of those eras

So many good memories, must be from the acid trips and thai buddha sticks in the 70’s and the skunk, northern lights and magic mushies in the 80’s

Not sure what shit people are on today because they just don’t seem like they’re able to communicate like we used to….

Maybe it’s me that’s not relating to people, who knows? I’m still waiting for a response from @Xerof, I couldn’t stop laughing at that gif of Ryan Gosling

Thanks for reminding me Flight

@cruiser51 you seem like a pretty serious bloke who backs the company and management and calls a spade a shovel so I’ll tell you what I’m currently up to just to get your opinion. I’m expecting you probably won’t agree, but still interested in what you have to say

I’m currently gathering all the evidence I can exposing the DRC as being the most corrupt state anywhere for international investors to invest in mining and most of the evidence implicates the current government as much as past governments.

I’ve been slowly getting info ready ahead of the DRC MINING WEEK in June as well as the one in September and again before the African nations mining conference in Perth later in the year.

I have read that Tshisekedi has the authority to rule in our favour and has had a year to show support, through which he hasn’t even shown the most miniscule support.

Now we have Cominiere and Zijin delaying our project even longer (unabated by the DRC government) after Cominiere illegally selling parts of it completely unabated by the government

@Frank has posted information that Jules Alingete is making headway and Tshisekedi is supposed to be supporting him, and it’s probably this that stops me from going too far, but I’m personally at the point where it seems making not only international investors aware, but also highlighting the DRC’s corruption to all the other African nations who want to be considered as friendly business environments is the option left to me.

The twitter campaign is gathering support from stakeholders and is being very well supported by locals in the DRC, it has specifically targeted Celestine Kebeya and Zijin which is spot on, but I’m thinking of targeting the government and mining sector as a combined corrupt entity.

When I started this post I didn’t think it would be this long so a nice long reply with your reasoning would be good

I’ll give you plenty of time because I’m going to sign off here, watch some TV with my better half and probably have some more codeine so I can sleep tonight

Definitely worth just emailing the editors the AVZ situation. If a 100 shareholders did a oke sentence effort to that email, ASPI editors might develop interest
