AVZ Discussion 2022

Looks as though the announcement we were expecting was merely an announcement of a pre-feasibility study (What the F*** is That) No announcement of partner in feasibility study and announcement was between pollies who lined up for a photo shoot about nothing , which will achieve nothing, unless a competent partner is announcement and they can source Lithium (Where will they get their Lithium feed from which will need to processed to PLS stage, not SC6) Pilot plant unlikely to include PLS processing facility.

The signing of the Framework Agreement before the PM
@LukondeSama
took place in Kinshasa. Make way for the pre-feasibility study, the work of which is now beginning and will be completed in August 2023. This study will give the operational aspects of the battery project

We have been invited to take a place on the council, that doesn't mean we ARE the council. Our part on the council comes later.

Makes me wonder - if we have received TO offers/bids - (assumedly greater than our current MV), why haven't our BoD released an announcement to the ASX confirming that they have rejected such an offer to help "build a base" for our shareprice.

Are we, as shareholders of the company, entitled to this information on the bids/offers made to AVZ?
Makes you wonder what offers we would have received had this sh1t show not happened.

Trapped shorters in AVZ be shitting bricks with this sector wide valuation lift resulting from the LTR offer.

ML for the whole 13359 will be a major derisking milestone.

Follow that up with the DFS 2.0 10Mtpa and shorts will have to close out.

All time highs not too far away after trading resumes and those who need to sell have done so.

I'm noticing a drop-off on use of the 'assets for social media campaign' on Twitter very recently, notably those involving Green mamba, JFMK and the DRC/China handcuffs

Is that at the behest of the Company, I ponder out loud to myself and anyone who would like to comment
From my personal view, I'm not feeling the motivation as much at the moment. Have been contacted but certainly not directly so who knows where or who it's actually from. At this stage you have to take everything with a healthy portion of salt.

So if I'm getting back into it, I'll do as I see fit, not pander to people who have not done their job/duties or doormats whose priorities are all mixed up.
TBH couldn't really give a fuck whose feelings are hurt, my bank accounts hurt, fuck your precious feelings. 😘

Any takeover bids, considering the shit we are going through in the DRC would be totally conditional on a ML being awarded imo ; we dont have a clue where we are with the ML , so spitting out a TO would be pointless and probably counter productive

imagine a conditional 5 billion TO coming through (which would be low considering LTRs 20mt measured , 109 Mt inferred ....albeit Sovreign risk has magnified considerably over the last 10 months caused by MoP and Co's actions) ; a figure with a billion on the end would get the the drc brown baggers all barred up and pushing harder to get what they wanted

More details of the pre-feasibility announcement , based on the budget for 6 months , these meetings are financed for lunches and snacks only, and perhaps some stationery if they are lucky, its an extension of the talkfest, where there are no achievements.

Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde oversaw, on Monday, March 27, 2023, the signing ceremony of a framework agreement for the launch of the pre-feasibility study of the special economic zone (SEZ) dedicated to the battery and electric vehicle value chain project between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia, with financing from Afrexibank and support from the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).

At the ceremony, the Congolese government was represented by its Ministers of Finance, Mines and Industry and the Zambian National Executive by its Minister of Trade and Industry. Representatives of the African Import and Export Bank (Afreximbank) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa were also present.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister said that this project fulfills the wishes of the Heads of State of the DRC and the Republic of Zambia to develop a regional value chain around the electric battery industry as well as a market for electric vehicles and strong energies.

For Julien Paluku, Congolese Minister of Industry, this agreement is part of the implementation of the main recommendations of the DRC-Africa business forum, held in November 2021 in Kinshasa.

According to him, this pre-feasibility study will make it possible to design an implementation plan and an operational model for the creation and operation of the transboundary SEZ, to identify the main challenges to be addressed in order to facilitate the creation and operation of the transboundary SEZ, to develop a financing plan and strategies for mobilizing funds, but also to design a strategy to promote investments dedicated to cross-border SEZs.

Note that this pre-feasibility study, which begins today, will run until next August. It is valued at 750,000 US dollars. It will be made by Integrated industrial platforms (ARISE) specialized in the development of the African industrial transition.
So are we to expect a Feasibility Study to follow after the PFS and then once the FS is done, then we can move forward towards a DFS. Two years down the track finally we can begin a BFS?

My comments today are in relation to battery manufacture process not actually activities by planned AVZ, we should be on battery council and involved in process, but this is battery council Mk2 , and we havent been invited to join it or participate in any way, that I am aware.

I have been thinking for a long time now, that if we had an A grade management will real connections and clout, there could be discussions in the background with BIG players regarding a take over offer conditional of ML in hand.

The perfect scenario would be the ML awarded, mind blowing updated PFS , a take over offer announced that was conditional on the ML, announce all of that prior to trading to burn 🔥 🔥🔥 the living shit out of the sorters and have a decent base above $1 for the SP.

Any Chinese that were hoping to scoop up cheap shares if the price crashed on open are shit out of luck also…

They will be barred up after seeing LTRs offer . Cue another interview trashing AVZ .

links to Sama, Mupande ?
Do those two have financial interests in catering services, supplying lunches for government meetings, to determine the value of having a pre-feasibility study, to determine the value of a feasibility study, by a bunch of harmless freeloaders?

We have been able to observe a customary siesta, after those lunches, called consideration, or thinking time, prior to an important vote.

Go AVZ!
G'day mate @MoneyBags1348 - I have resisted mentioning you to honour your request, but I see you've found your password once again. I know the bourse is better for it.

I have $30k worth of Mac Pro and monitors at the ready to dive into some serious calculations whenever the need arises. Not being one to jump at shadows, there is still plenty of time. My spreadsheet prowess dates back before many here were born - back to 1987 when "Symphony" was the product of choice. As a cadet with Deloittes I was chosen to learn, use, and report to Partners on its ability to assist what was essentially a paper-based industry. Back then we'd hand draft tax returns, hand them into the "typing pool" and they'd come back all nice and pretty from the ladies. Then each Friday night, head down to the Sydney Rugby Club, then Jackson's on George to buy enough drinks in the hope of waking up the next day with one of them. Ahhhhhhh, the good old days............

Back to reality. Jens produced some long-form numbers about 18 months ago and he wanted us to believe the numbers supported a USD28 share price. That's just rose coloured glasses bullshit and he's got no idea how to model if that's what he thinks. You cannot forecast costs out past year 2 because 'things' change so much. I'll try to get a copy and do my own modelling.

However, my LOYALTY to this stock has never waned. Shots at the BOD have been taken, but fairly. If it was my company I'd be working on a staged production - years ago. Explore a little bit, dig a little bit, process a little bit, sell a little bit. Scale up. The way our BOD have done it with working on the hail-mary approach to knock everyone else out has only served their fat wallets and portfolios. No Junior Miner should receive the pay packets these guys have taken. Like, WTF has our "chairman" even done let alone the non-exec members.

Recent developments in the story are healthy positive signs that we're on the way to getting back on track. The site will be a multi-generational earner and I still sleep well at night knowing my family will be looked after.

Bring on the ICC. Fuck zinjin, fuck cong, fuck the politicians everywhere, fuck the bod, fuck boatman, fuck tommy, fuck h00ts too.

TC.

$2.50 /$5.5billion offer rejected . Gives the Li market a wake up call . With AVZ 1.5 billion more SOI than LTR and a 51% stake (min ) this brings home the importance of the recent drilling .
$2.50 rejected on a 8/1 strip ratio project.............just imagine what AVZ could command with a DSO from surface, with 3/4 times the tonnage and 20% better grade on average ?

Assuming of course the shit show is finished, with all rights retained and ML in hand...........;)

$12..........:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If ever AVZ was to get off the canvas and get back to trading again with strong FA in hand, then i hope it now gets a wriggle on ASAP

A break of 32801 resistance would confirm a change of trend on the DOW......

A break of the 61 fib would confirm a change of trend on the GLOBAL.........

Then this could potentially happen for AVZ...........;)

Looking forward to putting a decent chunk of my 80% profit in the LION and into the BEAST !!

$12 and a party on JAG's deck.

Thanks TC, completely agree with your comments. Jan should be on top of the numbers (being AVZ’s accountant) but it would be interesting to try work out some new figures before him.

Regarding today’s news, there have been posts made here several times in the past about possible TO offers from the likes of Albermarle, BHP and FMG and the BOD not entertaining anything under $3.50…. Following today’s news on LTR, I suspect the BOD would be looking well above that now.

I liked the information by @FilthyRich2 on the a battery manufacturing plant and maybe CATH might be interested in it, not us. We are a mining company who will hopefully be producing in around two years…. Not sure why we would want to fuck around any more than we already have by being involved in battery manufacturing. Here’s the spod or pls, you do what ever you want with it, we’ve done everything so far and all you lot have done is slow up the process.

Not sure if CATH would even be happy about building a battery manufacturing plant in the DRC when they’ve already built them in China but who ever does it they have two years.

I love the way @Frank added more information on how the Chinese miners have ripped off the DRC immediately after your post, I added it straight to the thread with all the other info on how the Chinese have been ripping off the DRC…. Mostly info provided by Frank

Apart from that a couple of trolls posting something about me on here…. There’s a reason I ignore them, they have nothing to offer the threads other than trolling
