AVZ Discussion 2022

Shhh, don't mention prices. People who don't like us are watching
Surely an auction would ensue and a far larger figure would be offered!
They already know how much they would need to pay. Problem for them is the board don't want to sell at the moment. That 1.50 mark was repeatedly posted here by the hyenas and others last year. I think the target of the board is over 2.00 at this stage but would go down to 1.50 if nothing happens in the next few months.

Anything over 1.50 means anyone that bought the all time high of 1.375 in April last year will have made at least 10%. Hard to complain about making double digit returns in around 12 months. Also it would be extremely difficult to win a potential class action based on losses suffered if everyone has made money.

But yeah if the board indicates they are willing to sell then I expect many potential interested parties to have a crack. Manono is a money printing machine when operational and would be a no brainer for anyone with battery making plans at 4.8b AUD.

I'm very comfortable in understanding what the problem is. But obviously I can't guarantee everything will go in our favour.

From the AGM:

What happened after ML Decree, spurious yet we’re in suspension. What’s the main issue for ML – is it Dathomir, is Zijin ICC arbitration 15, dispute with exploration rights?

A: Lot of players in vogue here in country, lot of hatchet jobs being done – President had a bad view from being ill advised by detractors (e.g. we hadn’t done anything, didn’t have money experience, and were speculators). Detractors continuing, but slowly slowly we’re working to remove the blocks.

We knew Chinese would have a crack, but we did not expect parts of DRC government to be in on it?

A: Nor did we - “we thought it was gambit by Chinese groups to get project cheapest way. We weren’t aware it was also elements of the government complicit. We can’t go into it, but rest assured those people are being turned over within meetings with real information is being shared, and people put on the spot.

Collusion between all those 3 – namely Zijin, Jin Cheng, CAMI?

A: That would be astute thought

Issue that a portion of mines directorate said we hadn’t done the work on the northern tenement area, and shouldn’t get the north?

A: That’s not within the mining code. So 13359 should be retained in its entirety – however the northern area may need to come under a separate exploration tenement, even though that’s not the established process. – We know who’s behind this (e.g. DG CAMI)

What about AJN having a crack

A: “their premise is that we’ve returned the northern tenement to government. We haven’t. Draw a conclusion out of that”. I was a founding director and bought in as gold explorer. Found out late in the piece for a lithium plan – stepped away as soon as learned that. Shares bought before that lithium plan came into play. No conflict of interest.

Interview NF mentioned once mentioned once decree issued 10 day period before Court could issue the licence. What happened?

A: This was a misunderstanding. As soon as your documentation was in order and issued, this talk of periods was regarding the ministerial decree. Other steps in way of ML – CAMI have held up the invoicing, illegally in our view.

I am really grateful for the notes you wrote and retained via the AGM, it really does depict what was translated ( i got rid of my notes, so my memory gets hazy )

Just a focus on this paragraph.

"A: Lot of players in vogue here in country, lot of hatchet jobs being done – President had a bad view from being ill advised by detractors (e.g. we hadn’t done anything, didn’t have money experience, and were speculators). Detractors continuing, but slowly slowly we’re working to remove the blocks."

That clearly proves that FT wasnt following the process of MANONO doesnt it ?

Why would the president NOT have a keen interest in the progress of the biggest , most defining mining project in the DRC ?

In 2019 / 2020 , FT was running the ruler over old chinese contracts, attempting to make it fairer, why would he not run the ruler over new contracts too ?

You could accuse AVZ bod for taking their eye off the ball during COVID, but you could also accuse FT for taking his eye off the ball too.....

I had much respect for FT when he first got into governance, unfortunately that status quo has reversed big time !!

If this gets sold at $1.50, I’ll want a personal apology from Nigel and there team and for them to admit they are a bunch of useless shits that couldn’t organise beer at a brewery. I’ll accept this silence, this lack of communication for $4 and not a cent less. I’ll give them benefit of the doubt. For now. If this ends up floundering. Well as Rick Ross says. God forgives…I don’t!

Pretty sure they were @JAG notes. I just saved them on my phone. I was busy getting drunk and trying to heckle Nigel in the chat during the AGM haha

But yes I made the point a week or so ago that Felix has been involved with Manono for a long time now based on Nigel's comment. Clearly all roads lead to him. It's now put up or shut up time for Tshisekedi.

The advisors (eg Biselele) that gave Felix the wrong idea about AVZ are now all gone. So that's a positive sign. Acid test will be the ministerial reshuffle announcement and then what happens to mon ami Mupande.

*Fyi MB, I see where,

Jules Alingete: "Corruption in the DRC has been well fought for three years and its scale is reduced every day"

Corruption in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been well fought for three years and its scale is reduced every day, said Jules Alingete Key, in response to the intervention Albert Zeufack, Director of Operations of the World Bank on the evolution of corruption in the country.

In a press conference in Kinshasa, Albert G. Zeufack, Country Director of the World Bank for Angola, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sao Tome and Principe, recently hailed the economic upturn in Kinshasa the last two years.

But he did not hide his concern about the extent of corruption in the DRC.

A reading of the situation which did not leave indifferent the Inspector General Head of Department of the IGF, Jules Alingete Key.

The latter severely criticized, this Wednesday, January 25, 2023, the point of view of Albert G. Zeufack.

According to Jules Alingete, the analysis of the head of the World Bank is biased by indicating that "corruption in the DRC is well fought and its scale is reduced every day".

“For three years, the specialized structures relaunched and supported by the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi have ensured the regular publication of reports which repress corruption and there is a strong popular appropriation of this fight whereas before the facts of corruption were considered as normal and the population was anesthetized.

There is therefore no reason to minimize this political will and this popular momentum consisting in denouncing and openly repressing corruption by evoking any increase in this phenomenon”, declared the Congolese financial cop.

In the process, Jules Alingete castigates the attitude of the World Bank which, according to him, does not support the control institutions in African countries and seems to ignore the real mechanisms that have led to the vaunted economic upturn.

Convinced that the improvement achieved by the country economically is the combined result of progress made in several areas where revenues have almost doubled, the IGF is also of the opinion that these poor analyzes and approaches of the World Bank and the IMF are the basis of the failure of several economic programs supported by these two international institutions in African countries.

Wondering what Director Zeufack wanted to seek with these statements that take Kinshasa the wrong way, Alingete called on the World Bank "to leave simple office analyzes to internalize the realities on the ground in the Democratic Republic of Congo to better appreciate the efforts made by the structures for the fight against corruption with the support of the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi”.

According to this World Bank official, the macroeconomic situation is improving but that of governance, marked by corruption, is “worrying”.

“In 2022, the DRC was the 3rd fastest growing country in Africa (estimated at 6.1%)”, indicated Albert Zeufack, Director of Operations of the World Bank for four African countries.

He also said that the improvement in the macroeconomic situation enabled the country to benefit from budget support from the World Bank in the order of $250 million in June 2022.

Unless of course you are AVZ in which case it has increased unabated. Manono, only the largest undeveloped lithium mine in the farrrrken world ffs.
Excuse me whoops, carry on TALKING
Yea Disco, he and Paul Whitehouse (in Ruddy Hell It’s Harry and Paul) might be my two favourite comedians. A lot of their stuff was banned for being politically incorrect…. Or I don’t know, some shit 😂

I just love this one of Paul doing the English soccer coach

And they were hilarious as the two surgeons

**In character voice**

"Oi Felix NO, step down from the plane steps that's enough prancing around other countries sampling their snacks.
Get off your arse and work for the people destroying corruption like you promised!!!
Now for starters give Nigel that ML and put those rotten corrupt dodgy scoundrels that have the cheek to call themselves politicians behind bars, kayinda and mupande off ya go for some time to think about what you have done"

Chilla I pretty well agree with all your comments. I think people haven’t had a really good look at the map that shows the section that PE decree was for. Most of the CDL pegmatite is in that section, it’s not in the north eastern portion of 15339.

I could be wrong, I’m putting the map below (again) magnified and showing the portion of CDL that comes under the decree. Having said that, I want to keep the full tenement too and it’s legally ours, but I’m just pointing out how much of the CDL pegmatite is already covered in the section granted. Always good to hear your comments!

There is no doubt southern CDL is wide and meaty, but fuck , at the same time, plenty of chunk in that northern part too, billions of dollars worth...........i reckon the split is 60/40 ( north / south )

Certainly worth fighting for thats for sure.!!

That being said, I dont reckon AVZ can explore / develop CDL in a reasonable time frame by itself, way too big, the exploration dollars required would be massive, so you would think a JV would have to be under taken surely.

DRC wouldnt want AVZ to sit on / life style it would they ?

Which coy would have the best mining credentials, the funding clout plus knowledge / familiarity of DRC for AVZ to JV with i wonder ?

Food for thought.

Mate I can't see a TO for anything north of $1.20. $1 most likely.

We're just not where we need to be.

And might I say, I'd jump at it.

Just my thoughts.
I've had me mouth washed out for far less.

Absolutely ridiculous price. Why didn't you sell out for that while we were trading?

Because we all know it's worth more 👍

The board won't accept anything under 1.50 imo

Zijin or any potential buyer that has ran the numbers would pay that in a heartbeat. Zero chance they would umm and ah over the additional billion.
I think that price was before the new bfs was complete too and obviously all the shit that's gone down. I imagine their price has risen

As you said it is certainly worth fighting for despite the alleged concerns from management about the mica levels
