Yea he has had a meeting with Nigel. He is aware. Starting to suspect he likes snacks tbh. His movement on the corruption is so slow it’s pretty much a crime itself.
4 years of Tshisekedi in power: "Justice displays the face of a poor relative as under the Kabila regime"
The Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi, totaled, this Tuesday, January 24, 2023, 4 years in the supreme magistracy of the DR Congo.
On this occasion, the civil society of Kasaï Central considers the record of 4 years of the fifth president of Congo-Kinshasa not very brilliant in terms of justice.
According to him, "justice displays the face of a poor relative as under the Kabila regime".
In a statement made this same Tuesday, a copy of which reached Actu30 CD, the Congolese Society for the Rule of Law believes that the judicial system has remained ineffective and inefficient, because several evils continue to plague the functioning of the judiciary in the country.
Among these evils, this structure cites, among others, the poor working conditions of magistrates, the collection of illegal court fees, clientelism and influence peddling, but also corruption.
The Congolese society for the rule of law also notes the absence of a culture of positive and negative sanction, the non-existence of a system of integrity, insufficient local judicial coverage and impunity for serious crimes under the Felix Tshisekedi regime.
It should be noted that the Head of State Félix Tshisekedi had himself, during a Council of Ministers, deplored the dysfunction observed in the Congolese judicial system.
He had instructed the Minister of Justice to sanction all crooked magistrates.
