I suggested to a friend that she consider buying BRN. She went ahead and has done so with little research or understanding other than a brief description I gave her. She ignored my advice to read Fact Finder's "Brainchip story" and checking Brainchip.com. I was humbled by her blind faith in my suggestion and castigated her. Now she has asked what is stopping anyone from copying PVDM's tech and going alone without paying for licensing.

What would be a good answer?
You could tell her that we are surrounded by a big arse moat, filled with patents, brilliant technical minds and a team that are driving the tech into the hands of the some of the biggest global end users while at the same time establishing a world class partner network who are rapidly incorporating and packaging our tech into their own offerings.

You can then reassure her that even if the moat started to be drained today it would take 3-5 years just for it to get low enough for the competition to even get a look in.

Well done to all holders and here's to next week starting like today finished. No doubt in my mind, exciting times are ahead.

Just listened to the podcast. What was fascinating is all of the other possibilities he spoke about at the time were 10-15 years in the future. We are now nearly there. Highly recommended listening.
Thank you.
You're very welcome, Their is another one of his early days radio interviews which I can't find at the moment. I'll post that once I can find it.
The man is a visionary!

Just some interesting details related to the other ASX 200 inclusions and their trading experience today.
I decided to review following the initial announcement of their inclusion in the index. It seemed to have had a positive effect on all except BRN at that time.

Today the tide was in reverse.
I'm not saying there is anything to read into this 🤔
I just wanted a little balance as it irked me at the time.

FYIO this is commsec data only... Dont have access to Chi

Since owning a small part of this company I dont think a weekend has arrived that I hve not wished it away.
I must stop and smell the roses the jouirney is often as good as the destination besides I'm getting too old too fast.
Nice, FK. Now you've got me interested in doing the two week comparison.
Enjoy the weekend. Don't stress it, because.....apparently.......The Share Price Will Do What The Share Price Does!! I really liked Antonio's line - it reflects that the company is building a great business and the SP will follow. We shouldn't sweat it and the day to day won't change the long-term. Have a nice weekend all. I'll be working on my short game because it failed me today.

I was looking into military edge applications for Akida and found Anduril, a Silicon Valley military AI upstart. It’s core system is Lattice OS, an autonomous sense-making and command & control platform.

“Lattice uses technologies like sensor fusion, computer vision, edge computing, and machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect, track, and classify every object of interest in an operator's vicinity.”

Now imagine a ‘Neuromorphic bomb’ being deployed from either air or sea that could drop 1000’s of smart sensors in a defensive or offensive situations to utilise Lattice.

The Australian defence force is already interested in their DIVE-LD UAV, with Anduril having established Australian headquarters based in Sydney, and preparing component manufacturing over multiple sites.

Imagine 10x AUV’s released from a mother-sub and each of these having a 1000+ sensor babies with Akida that get deployed deep into hostile territory, these tennis ball sized sensors could return or be collected again after mission by the AUV. If WWIII broke out I know I’d want a few 1000’s in grid formation surrounding all key military infrastructure.
