Worst down-ramp attempt ever.
Put some effort in at least.

Also why do people always forget China has a bet each way on this - if we develop the project with CATH it still benefits China.
Funny thing CATL is up-talking the Sodium Ion Battery, in other words attempting to white ant lithium prices.

There is still a lot of room to improve the Lithium Ion battery.

They are claiming the ability to charge a 100 kWh Sodium Ion battery by 80% in 30 minutes.
Sounds mind boggling......
Get your calculator out and work out the consequences for charge stations, or even your home to charge 80 kWh in 30 minutes, or 160 kW in one hour.....
Will be a great idea to up your house main fuses, just in case.

I love Keith Richard for Pope, he has the right age and the ability to bring the hymn book into the 21st century.
Somebody has to do it.

All timelines up to this point have come to nothing .China influence will push Manono case through the courts for years while they continue develop north . Felix does not have power to go against China . DRC will have to fight in court as front for China with China paying all the legal expense. DRC officials and politicians have become very rich because of Chinese . They don't care about DRC just about themself.

Realistically, it's not the batteries that are holding back car charging times, it's the source of electricity.
It takes over 24 hours to charge a tesla at home on 240v, or 6-7 hours if you have three phase.
According to Tesla, fast chargers can already recharge faster than what you've listed for the Sodium Ion battery with the current battery technology. The limiting factor is how much electricity you have on hand, and the general answer is 'not enough'.
The main useful advance in batteries will be if they can store the same energy in a lighter battery.
The marketing may sound good, but it only fools some people, not the ones with lots of $$$ to invest who do their homework.

This is wrong about single phase.
Single phase you can have up 7kw of power. Takes about 10 hours to charge 0-100 for a standard Model 3. Most charge 20-80 for battery longevity reasons which takes 5 hours.
(Yes if you have single phase on "trickle charge" which is your standard 10amp wall plug it takes 24hours. But most Australian houses are single phase set ups, all you need to do is install a dedicated circuit to your mains with a 32amp circuit breaker, and the correct charger)

It's irrelevant as 7kw is still nowhere near the 200kw required to recharge a 100kwH battery in 30mins at home. Unless Sodium Ion or any other alternative is smaller, lighter, safer and cheaper than the current Lithium based batteries then there will still be demand for lithium.

Sorry for the self promotion but the idea is to show our future is Electric ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ and we need Lithium .. many top-tier companies are making their moves, which will become apparent in due course.

If anyone's in Brisbane, feel free to swing by — happy to show the different EV charging setups we've got going. We got 2.3kW to all the way up to 22kwH setups to speed up home/fleet charging solutions. Though charging isn’t our specialty, it’s part of the package when dealing with EVs — and we do re-manufacture the best of what’s available to suit conditions here in Australia.

We're also working on and almost finalised V2H (Vehicle to Home) and V2G (Vehicle to Grid) with/without home batteries so that any EV can plug into your home setup and starts feeding your home and the grid as shown below. Above all, its all Australian Owned and everything is done in house 💪💪💪. Except that we have to rely on home batteries (for trial purposes) from a certain faraway place that shall remain unnamed 😅.
