Considering Beizos is a billionaire who made his fortune by screwing over everyone with less money than him, I hold little hope about them paying a fair value. He's a financial predator and pure scum.

NF has repeatedly said that we may have to forgo the North, and brushes it off as not a big deal due to the Mica
I highly doubt NF would want to walk away with 0 compensation for the North before we have our day in court just around the corner, unless an offer for the South was too good to walk away from.

"3. Why is Graeme Johnston commenting on this at all? I would not have thought X would be the appropriate forum for the company to be making any sort of comment on these actions, and if they were I would not have thought GJ would be the right person to make them...."

Fucking ABSOLUTELY

Geezuz I can't believe that shit was posted by Graeme on X

I mean ffs!

Cone of fucking silence and then old Gra Gra decides to drop the beans on how it's all supposed to be going down?????

Fucking amateur hour....assuming the screen shots etc are true
My first thought as well but then realised its GJ. He has a track record of doing this stuff...

regardless, what he said does make sense but please man leave it for the boardroom. Unless the company endorsed his post... which would be odd.

Not sure if this is a showing of strength, from
100% my own bullshit theory, but here’s what might be going down:
  1. Months ago, Kobold made a low-ball offer for the South, implying to AVZ that they didn’t have the funds to see the ICSID case through—essentially asking, why take the risk? It was a classic test-the-waters move, but AVZ swiftly rejected as they had other deals in the background.
  2. Now, with CATH in the picture, Kobold is back at the table, strategically planting media narratives about a deal being in progress. The goal, to pressure the Trump administration, the DRC government, and AVZ shareholders into playing ball and putting them in the picture for a longer term deal.
  3. The supposed deal is for the South only, requiring AVZ to forfeit any stake in the North. To Nigel, this was completely unacceptable, even if the price for the South was good, walking away with zero compensation for the North wasn’t an option.
  4. At this point, it’s a game of chicken. The DRC government must decide: do they risk the ICSID case ruling in AVZ’s favor for the North exposing themselves, or do they open themselves up to potential litigation and backlash to powerful individuals from Zijin—justified or not?
  5. For now, they’re taking a back seat, following protocol, and letting ICSID decide. If AVZ wins and regains its rights, the play is clear, strike a deal with Kobold for the South, while Zijin is forced to compensate AVZ for the North.
  6. Nigel has decided with all the fuckery for all sides, the be course forward is to proceed with the ICSID to put an irrefutable value and compensation claim in place which can anchor all negotiation.

I just took it to mean go back to sleep for 12 months. The commodity cycle still at a low point. China still has its boot to the throat of lithium, CATL is rumoured to start up its shuttered Lepidolite mine again. CCP still subsidising the heightened cost of using Lepidolite which supresses the price of hard rock spod - allowing them to buy it and mines on the cheap (and I think it creates extra waste material...but not sure on the exact process... if someone knows whats going on with China happy hear it).

Until demand explodes beyond China ability to suppress and/or non-China supply chains for refinement come online... let the suits keep going. If US want to break China dominance they can pay us a fair price.

GJ is sitting at home getting paid to do nothing, as he can't travel to the DRC because he'll be arrested. So he has a lot of time on his hands and is being paid well for that, Maybe his posts were after another boring day at home with a case of red?

Thinking about his comments again I wonder if he was just referring to HIS legal case regarding that bullshit ruling in the DRC on forgery of the share docs and not necessarily about the other cases AVZ is involved with in international arbitration

Either way probably a bit of a fuck up but it was just another thought I had

Would absolutely consider this a sackable offence, they’re either playing their hand close to their chest or not. Why would he get on x and start telling everyone how this is playing out. Yet again the rumour mill misleading investors and this overpaid underperforming executive shoots his mouth off. Don’t give them a drop of oxygen, keep quiet play it clean. Let’s see this out in the courts. I want to see big Nigel in the cockpit of bulldozer with a red ribbon on it before the end of 2026!

Did GJ post on LinkedIn or X ? Looked like LinkedIn . Maybe GJ letting certain people know where this is headed if an "appropriate compensation " cannot be reached . Maybe strategic and not random messaging after a night on the turps .

It was on Linkedin not X.

You can sort it by the comments on his profile.

Publically the company needs to be 100% proceeding to ICSID, behind the scenes is a complete mystery what games are being played.

I think you'll find that Linkedin is very much in the public domain.

Is it just me, or I don't find much wrong with what gj said?

It's always been my view that the bods focus was to resolve the legal issues to go mining.

If they're looking for suitors, then that would be secondary.

Frank... mate. Mate. That counter has the face of a dog licking piss off a thistle and it's making my toes curl.

I don't know why it appears like that on your monitor and no one else's but please mate. I spent nearly a week day and night trying to get it right and looking amazing and easy to read. Could you please take a few seconds each time you do a screen shot, to adjust your browser to 80% like you showed me in your PM?

Thanks kindly, Love your work.
