Like you mate, I'm a fan of the BoD who I think have done a good ( but NOT perfect ) job under really tough conditions.
One of their faults, imho, is this nudge, nudge, wink, wink that always seems to be PR.
Any info / rumours comes with the motives of the originator. It is primarily for their benefit and addresses their agenda not necessarily your interests.

Do you think Elon Musk now would allow Chinese EVs to compete with Tesla in North America? I doubt it.

Would he let China monopolize lithium and hold it hostage for battery production if China is shut down in Americas? They might try, but I think he sees that coming.

Will Elon secure his own lithium supply? He’d better be working on it... in places like Manono.

No mate, Elon gives away his technology.
He isn't in it for profits, he just wants to change the world. He's talked about this quite a bit.
For Elon, I don't see it being a problem for him who owns the raw materials, he can just buy it from whoever has it.
Plus Lithium itself, as he's stated, isn't rare and is easy to source.
He wants miners to start producing more nickle, that's his only battery minerals concern.

Yeah mate fair call, but it aint just AVZ thats guilty of that, lots of other coy have leaky ships, its not right, but it is what it is unfortunately.

To be honest, i feel burdened by the fact i receive chinese whispers which i cant share openly here , i am a straight shooter, open book kinda guy, all this secret skull duggery shit fucks with my brain , everyone deserves clarity not just a chosen few and @wombat74 is correct, alot of these nudge , nudge wink wink stuff has not come to fruition in the past anyway, so its a complete head fuck.

Anyway, my gut feel is AVZ motives are pure, they seek the best outcome for us in as you rightly say, " really tough conditions ", understatement of the year.

And i am hoping that some of these current chinese whispers finally turns into fact that gives us all hope of a positive conclusion to what has been the biggest fucked up situation i have ever experienced and hope to never experience again, WFE, VEC, CRR ( 4CE ) suspensions was bad enuff, AVZ has been on a entirely different level of fuckery.

Lets see what transpires out of this upcoming AGM.........29/11/24 2pm.

Sometimes statements like that can also be political about lithium as raw material. Oil, for example, is widely available worldwide, yet prices skyrocket whenever there’s conflict in the Middle East. I think market control isn’t just about abundance, it’s about who holds the supply lines.

Just because lithium is accessible doesn’t mean the supply chain dynamics won’t impact prices or availability, especially as demand keeps climbing. Just thinking out loud

Just gonna say that there's a public hearing in the US today for UAP/UFOs... literally starting around 20mins from now as I type. This story is likely to become increasingly prominent over coming months and years, and it is probably the biggest story in human history.

It would be very nice if we could get this shit wrapped up ASAP. lol. There are much bigger things at play in this world that look, dare I say... rather... imminent

I'm a pretty minor investor relative to many on here. I've never had the privilege of meeting any other holders at an AGM. Since first entering AVZ back in circa 2019, I've moved away from aus to EU.

But fuk me, when this shit gets sorted ill be on a plane back to aus and I expect there to be a hell of a celebration.

If I'm reading the room correctly the AGM will announce either a deal done/ almost done OR finances for our legal battles ahead guaranteed . Take your pick .

It will be "Deal imminent" as Christmas present under the tree.
