I always felt the Deboss recruitment was just more than a Q&A figurehead. I speculate he will act as a champion for mum and dad shareholders in any event that involves a TO.

Also outside of that speculation, I also further speculate there is some positive news forthcoming for this company.

A few that would usually have good intel on this board have been rather silent. Some of my personal contacts have also been rather quiet.

All speculation of course.

No not a silly question, I was the same, you need to go back through your emails, sometime in May you would have been emailed an SRN number, then go to Aotmic site (or call them) to change your holding and after a few days the correct shares will show up! If Deboss has emailed you, you can also give him your details and he will sort it. Good luck

That $20M still ended up in the escrow account to begin with so our transfer of ownership is water tight against dathomir, or at least that is what all previous comms and understanding has been?

Got to give Christian credit if he genuinely managed to swindle all of that $20M for himself...... So Dathomir are claiming they lost ownership in the largest lithium deposit in the world and ended up getting absolutely nothing for it....??

The way I see it is this is only likely to affect us if Cong agrees to a deal and wants the money delivered asap. But that would be a good thing legally and the legal responsibility for payment would still be on Momentum not AVZ. I am still extremely confident that we will be awarded damages greater than this amount after Dathomir is put to the sword at the ICC so it becomes our money again while still maintaining the good legal title to the 15%. The only problem then is that these funds were meant to be the appropriate security package for the facility in the Locke deal and they won’t proceed with funding until it is sorted or we find an alternative imo

Pretty sure it was different lawyers. $1.653m USD was claimed owed by Jean-Marcel Kabeya Mbuyi for work done for AVZ and Dathcom in the lead up to the ML being granted. And we haven't employed him since 2022 so there would be no need to switch lawyers now if it was him. Plus he was claiming shares in Dathcom for non payment not the money in escrow. Also it was Christian Lukusa that provided all the documentation around the Dathomir transfer in that interview 2 years ago and he was still our principal lawyer in country up until now as far as I was aware. But I could be wrong and the two events could be coincindental but I doubt it. Would have been nice to get a bit more detail.

To avoid any confusion from selective editing I am more than happy to confirm that while I am realistic about our outlook the point of trying to get this message of potential timelines across to shareholders is that I firmly believe having this mindset is our best chance of getting fair value for our asset whether that be in the short term or the long term.

While Nigel has his faults I still think he is our best chance of achieving the desired result. But he needs the support of shareholders that have a steely resolve to back him as long as it takes. Constant let downs from rumours and roadshows are the biggest threat I see to that. Not half wits that can’t put together a decent strategy.

I’m a relatively young man but I have never seen an attempt as elaborate as this from external forces to replace the leader of a company. Which says to me that he is on the right path to fair value that our adversaries don’t want to pay. The most insulting thing is the constant dismissiveness of negotiations by the state.

We will decide who represents us. Not the forces that wish to rip us off.

Announcement said the company has been made aware of allegations of unauthorised transactions (note plural) involving the company's escrow account in the DRC

My dealings with escrow accounts is that they are just another bank account held by the lawyers. They are legally obliged not to touch it but can very easily if they want to.

The most interesting thing about the chain of events leading to this escrow dispute is that at no time is the amount shown in statements provided by Christian Lukusa seen as under 20m USD. The dispute arises from the claims of unauthorised transactions and his and Rawbank’s resistance to confirming their availability upon request in July as they are legally obliged to do.

Mr Lukusa is an intelligent man. I would be willing to wager every single AVZ share I own that the money is still there as it ultimately, for now at least, legally belongs to powerful forces. Unfortunately it seems like most lawyers he has sold his soul to the highest bidder to aide their attempts to further delay our progress by playing idiotic games imo

Agreed. Pretty obvious that one or all Cong/Cominiere/Zijin have paid for more games to be played to waste more of AVZ's time and money.
Their clear goal is to run us out of cash and help themselves to the remains.
IMO we need funding secured and ICC fines to drop to give us leverage to resolve, otherwise they will just keep playing their games.
