Ok, I thought we were expecting something ground breaking as there was concern that the company wasn’t communicating as it should, being reminded of a strike and another one to come.

So Akida second generation was to be on general availability during Q3 2023. That ends at the end of September, so what announcement do the company have to make today!

Have a read of the Half Yearly results which said:

'several active customers elected to defer their evaluation of BrainChip’s technology until after the expected release of Akida 2.0 in August 2023'

My understanding is that Akida 2.0 is different to Akida 1500 and so people are expecting an announcement to accompany the release.

Big congrats to those who found the cash/cojones and bought in the 27/28c mark.
Nearly 20% return in only a couple of days!

I would have had to file for divorce if I tried to convince my wife it was worth doing.
As a side note, we have our first child on the way, so my risk tolerance may be decreasing subconsciously.

It says expected, it says on the website during Q3. Honestly folks get so hung up on crap here, and want to come across as macho and big hitters. Frankly it’s pathetic.

What's Australia?
Many in the US don't realize we're a first-world nation like them. Yes, we have internet and mobile phones. Yes, we have cars and don't rely on Kangaroos to deliver mail.

I was lucky enough to study in Europe as an Erasmus student in the early 00s.

An Amercian girl I met was really surprised that we had electricity in Australia.
Steve Irwin and Crocodile Hunter was in its prime, and any weird insect in a student house in De Hague in Holland was dealt by me because I was the only Aussie around. I was more than happy the stick with the stereotype as well (the chicks loved it!)

The most outragaeous memory was meeting some Canadians when travelling in Barcelona. We were talking about where we travelled to. One of them rattled off some places: I've been to Scotland, France, Ireland, Amsterdam...'. I interrupted 'Oh, I have been living in The Netherlands recently'. He responded 'The Netherlands... The Netherlands..., haven't been there. We also went to Germany'.
Fudge me dead. How you could go to a country and not know it. The innocent days where email ruled and you needed a PC to access it for information.

Back to topic though. SP doing rather well these last two days.

August is during Q3. The company made this representation only a few days ago so there is a legitimate expectation by shareholders that one way or another we will get some kind of announcement about this by 31 August 2023.

It's a technically key level 30.5 with a 3 million share hit in one go. Looks like a strategic TA buy to me, but wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.. Better being lucky than right as Gil Morales says all the time.

And, I would add don't under estimate the power of the Tata partnership, announced only two days ago.
They are an absolute behemoth, and have a strong investor following with a successful history of innovation and diverse commercial success.

Tata have been writing papers and talking to the power of neuromorphic compute, particularly SNN, for several years, and have published papers on the topic ... how it will be a disruptive technology in many industries delivering commercial advantage..

On the voyage to commercialisation of SNN by Tata they no doubt assessed several options, we know they at least benchmarked Intel vs Akida.

And after this assessment they partnered with Brainchip ... a ringing endorsement from Tata if ever there was one.
The industry and investors will take note.

Many factors bring about the perfect storm !
