Exactly Wino, maybe some people like a bit of 'hope' but to others it's just fucking irritating. Both the insinuation that some privileged shareholders know so much more than everybody else and the fact that none of it ever comes to fruition.
Seems to me (figuratively and generally speaking) a wink every few weeks could keep going on for many more months or years and never eventuate to anything, on the other hand you could keep winking and get lucky one day.

Many have various (or the same) sources, all that they have in common is that they've all proven false to date (or perhaps more accurately jumped the gun with their flawed interpretation of the available information).

Though can you even have that many letters in a legal numberplate? Could just be for decoration.

I'd imagine he took it down because it might not be good for us if they think we will sell once we get the licence, which is what his tweet was suggesting.
