Emails received this morning to explain the application.

My understanding is that you automatically have THE RIGHT to participate UNLESS you sell those rights.

You can hold onto the RIGHT and still NOT exercise (pay them), and they just lapse.. So it's in your best interest to either take up the offer or get a few cents for the rights..
