Sean Hehir got interviewed on the latest episode of The Brave Technologist podcast, hosted by Luke Mulks, VP of Business Operations at Brave Software and recorded sometime in October:

โ€œBrainChip: Bringing Brain-Inspired AI into Everyday Devicesโ€

From 10:23 min: โ€œSo Iโ€™m often asked: โ€œDo you ever see the day, where the cloud is abandoned?โ€ Of course not! I think what I call is the right tool for the right job, these two kind of, letโ€™s call it approaches will co-exist. It just makes good common sense, right?โ€

From 14:30 min: โ€œI would say simply stay tuned to us and watch what weโ€™re gonna announce later this year. I think youโ€™ll be amazed about the functionality weโ€™re gonna be talking about. And, you know, later this year is not that long, as weโ€™re already in October. Later this year, early next year, thereโ€™s a lot of things weโ€™re gonna be announcing, youโ€™ll see the possibilities. So, the short answer is: Almost everything you can see in the cloud, will be available on the edge. I strongly believe that.โ€

Neuromorphic Computing

Work in the domain continues using BrainChip and Intel products in cybersecurity and other domains. BrainChip and Intel have released the second generation of their chipsโ€”seeing what improvements in speed can be gained from these products will be interesting.

Sounds like we should be expecting some juicy announcements very very soon! Hopefully super juicy!
Unless someone with a big name is mentioned what do you think happens to the shareprice

Not particularly fussed to be honest and enjoying adding to my holdings at these low prices. The shareprice will rise in good time and we could be seeing an announcement that will see a rapid jump at any point. Its getting close to a very exciting period for brainchip imo. U.S defense/government/space use comes before mass adoption and that has been going on for some time already.

Just relax, its so easy to do!

The word I focused on was FUNCTIONALITY. So thinking it will be more about the updated version of AKIDA and its new capabilities.
But like you I am confident about some juicy IP announcements in the near future.
Cheers
Sean mentioned some more news this year, I wonder if it was the following which was after this podcast in October ๐Ÿค” or is there more to come. ๐Ÿคž

BrainChip also requested a trading halt on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on November 8, 2025, in anticipation of the capital raising announcement [6]. Furthermore, the company announced a strategic partnership with Blue Ridge Envisioneering (BRE), a Parsons company (NYSE: PSN)

I was thinking of not participating in the SPP but then I saw this towards the end of the letter about it.

Then I got excited as I haven't been overly happy with the past performance.

But seriously, where do I get the application form? I can't find it at Boardroom, nor the Brainchip site and there is no link to it anywhere.

Any pointers would be great.

Cheers,
H

Hi H,

Very easy to do. Go to your nearest bin and put the money straight in there.

They should have been posted out to the address they have on file.
Phone Boardroom and ask them, they run the show for providing the paperwork.

Your doing it completely wrong and maybe you should try burying it in the back garden as it works for me

How is the situation actually regarding licenses in the tech sector?
Specifically for MegaChips โ€“ how long do they have to use the IP before the license expires? If they have something going on with Akida, wouldnโ€™t they have to move seamlessly into an extension? Or could a new agreement possibly be treated as a kind of grace period during the transition phase while the details are being negotiated?

The Sony chip does not support on chip learning. That is the key and why its 2nd or 3rd rate compared to AKIDA.
The guts of the difference between on chip learning and a Sony pre trained chip example - AKIDA can recognise new faces (one shot learning) where as Sony can only recognise faces already pretrained on the chip.
So its really only a matter of time before Sony need AKIDA just to keep up with what consumers want.
If they move into robotics, wearables, or adaptive consumer devices, onโ€‘chip learning its AKIDA they need.
I cannot see a world where any of the majors would not be looking at AKIDA right now. Will any let the competition steal the market?
Some simple examples that only AKIDA offers - cameras only - plenty of other examples:
Smart security cameras
: Learn to recognize new faces, pets, or vehicles locally without cloud retraining.
Professional cameras: Adapt autofocus and exposure to a photographerโ€™s unique shooting style.
Consumer Cameras: Personalize scene recognition (e.g., learning your preferred portrait style).
