I think Iโ€™ll just leave this placeโ€ฆ it seems that driving other users away is part of this forumโ€™s philosophy.

I tried to contribute with a mix of factual and humorous posts. But the moment youโ€™re a bit skeptical and question certain users, youโ€™re immediately attacked, and people even try to damage your reputation with questionable methods.

I wish all the other neutral people here good luck, and whatever you do, donโ€™t question anythingโ€ฆ otherwise youโ€™ll end up like many others who once actively contributed to this forum but were then driven away.

Take care.
So long, and thanks for all the fish. ๐Ÿคฃ

7f7 is active in many forums and claims to possess important information โ€“ but ultimately, 7f7 simply copies and pastes content and politely asks if it has already been posted (which is the case 99% of the time!).

7f7 is known for starting arguments and playing the victim.

There's probably no forum that 7f7 hasn't permanently left โ€“ and yet 7f7 continues to post.

It will be the same here.

Standard on market manipulation.
If they can't twist it just how they'd like it here, they always have the after trade auction, and if it's still not to the beot's liking they will do an "adjustment" after hours. ๐Ÿคฃ
It's their game and most of the time the house always wins. ๐Ÿคฃ

Just been watching a video on You Tube and I hope this is not
the chip that has caught up with BrainChip's Akida, I know very
little about Chip technology if someone that knows about how a chip works
could they please watch this, (@Diogenese, @Frangipani,) or anybody that understands.

I have invested more money than I should have in BrainChip, but still have faith in AKIDA, but this
scared the SH#T out of me.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over that video.......

Heres a comment from the video that imo, rings true:

and a late trade of 1,500,000
the asx is just an obscene joke.
If the pricks show up at your house and rob you
you may get some redress from the law.
Got to the ASX and screw you blind for years and ASIC just
yawns politely and lets these pricks carry on. Please explain
the drop of 14.7%
I dont think so.
Rant not over. I am pissed off. The company could use
more money. Retail has a chance to actually help and these
f***kers crash the SP until it is under the offer so hardly anyone
will buy direct.. This directly affects every shareholder by reducing
the companies ability to expand. without more capital raisers
when they can pull the crap again.
Rant still not over.
I am still pissed.

Hi @smoothsailing18 ,

I think they've just invented the wheel.

Their patents relate to RERAM analog or hybrid analog/digital.

Interestingly, the patents are filed only in China, so, worst comes to worst, we can copy. But it also indicates a low level of confidence in "inventiveness". Possibly something to do with Chinese labour laws.

CN114756814A Variable resistor array forming method and analog matrix calculation circuit realized based on variable resistor array forming method 20220409

1763973426692.png

The invention provides a variable resistor array forming method and an analog matrix calculation circuit realized based on the variable resistor array forming method, and belongs to the field of semiconductors, analog calculation and integrated circuits. Each row vector of the matrix is mapped into the conductivity difference of two rows of devices in a variable resistor array, and the corresponding two rows of devices are connected to the positive input end and the negative input end of an operational amplifier (OA). The positive input end and the negative input end of each OA in the circuit are respectively connected with a compensation resistor, so that the sum of conductance values of resistance devices connected with the two input ends is equal. According to the method, efficient analog calculation of matrix inversion, feature vectors and matrix pseudo-inversion is achieved, delay and hardware overhead of negative element-containing matrix operation are reduced, meanwhile, the influence of array line resistance and device difference can be effectively overcome, and the method has wide application prospects in the fields of signal processing, wireless communication, machine learning and the like.

CN117609676A High-precision digital-analog hybrid calculation matrix inversion method 20231205

The invention provides a high-precision digital-analog hybrid calculation matrix inversion method, and belongs to the field of computer science, semiconductors and integrated circuits. According to the method, low-precision one-step inversion is realized through loop iteration in analog and digital domains by utilizing an analog matrix calculation circuit based on a variable resistor array, a final accurate solution is ensured by utilizing high-precision digital calculation, and matrix inversion with the same precision as that of all-digital calculation is realized while the advantage of rapid solution of analog calculation is kept. According to the method, high-precision and efficient simulation matrix inversion calculation is realized, the calculation complexity is reduced, the calculation speed and precision are improved, and the method has wide application prospects in the fields of scientific calculation, machine learning, wireless communication and the like.

I could give you a reasonable explanation for every single point โ€“ why I react the way I do and what I write. But thereโ€™s no real point, because you clearly twist things into whatever suits you โ€“ taking comments out of context just to make me look bad. Edit: you still donโ€™t know the Funktion โ€œshow ignored contentโ€

You also seem to have no understanding of normal human behavior: sometimes people post emojis just for fun, and sometimes, after doing more research, they realise that a previous post wasnโ€™t 100% accurate and then start questioning it. Itโ€™s completely normal to later come to a different conclusion and for earlier posts to become irrelevant.

Instead, youโ€™re busy tracking what I post in other forums just to try and expose me here. You can keep trying if you like โ€“ I honestly donโ€™t care. In the end, youโ€™re only making yourself look more ridiculous, even though you actually had the potential to be taken more seriously by some people.

I am also requesting that you delete that post and stop this stalking behaviour.
If you tag me, mention me again, or repost my content here without my consent, I will take action โ€“ fully in line with the terms and conditions and usage policies of this forum.

Argh... Iโ€™m so frustrated with the recent progress... and the capital raise... They said โ€œWatch us now,โ€ but then went ahead with a CR when the share price is already so lowโ€ฆ It makes me wonder whether they actually have any deals lined up or there will be any positive announcements coming soon... I am guessing no... Seanโ€™s $9M revenue target is starting to feel like complete BS at this pointโ€ฆ ;(

IMO only...

I see Olivier has recently provided some comments to a post by a freelancer named Artiom as per link.

Olivier talks about some tech details I found interesting (my bold) and also, when you go to Olivier's LinkedIn, it says working for BRN? I thought he moved on or I mistake something?

From theoretical models to chips: I design SOTA spatiotemporal NNs (PLEIADES, TENN (Akida 2+), SCORPIUS) that train like CNNs and run efficiently at the edge like RNNs.

The Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) where Christoph Posch developed the ATIS sensor developed a linear event-based visual array of 3(?) pixel wide to scan objects on a conveyor belt moving really fast. We used the technique presented here to categorize moving grocery items and read their barcodes when put in a shopping basket. The difficulty was the effective temporal resolution, only about 0.1 ms at best, far from the ns resolution of the timestamps. So we needed better techniques, dynamical NNs to extract all the info and compensate for the time-dependent response of a pixel: if fired recently, less likely to fire again for same contrast. We didnโ€™t have that NN then and I think I have it now with PLEIADES and successors.

The increase resolution brings out the another main advantage of event-based vision sensors, one can eventually see/resolve objects that one couldnโ€™t with same frame-based resolution. We could still track drones flying in the sky that were 1/10 the size of a single pixel for example. Try that with a frame-based camera. We could generate Gigapixel resolution images with a DAVIS240 (240 x 180) of our surroundings while driving a vehicle offroad on a bumpy ride.

This is a great application, very nicely explained! One interesting aspect visible in your results is that edges parallel to the motion direction are much less represented, simply because they donโ€™t generate many events. A way to address this is to excite pixels from multiple directions, ensuring that all edges trigger events. This is exactly what we explored in a class project that eventually evolved into our paper VibES: we mounted the event camera on a small mechanical platform that oscillates in both X and Y, essentially a tiny โ€œwashing-machine-likeโ€ motion ๐Ÿ˜„. By injecting a known motion pattern (and estimating the sinusoidal components online), we obtained dense event streams and significantly sharper reconstructions, even for edges that would otherwise remain silent. Glad to hear your thoughts!

This brings out another point: single cone/rod in our retinas donโ€™t have the angular resolution to clearly see stars in the night sky, our eyes just donโ€™t have the necessary resolution, yet we can clearly stars. How is that then possible? Eye movement and spike timing. Within a certain spatial resolution, spikes fire at the same spatial location when our eyes move. The temporal resolution of the spike translates to the spatial resolution that we can achieve when the spikes accumulates around the same spatial location where the star is. Be drunk and the stars should appear thicker or will appear to move because the temporal spike alignment is off. Thus, what we see is clearly a result of the neural processing, not just the inputs, the neural networks processing the spike firing. Thatโ€™s the neural processing we need to take full advantage of event-based (vision) sensors, without having to resort to the processing of periodic sampling of frames that the engineering world is stuck in today.
