There is no Intel Loihi3 anywhere that my ChatGPT can find.

Short answer: No — you can’t buy a Loihi 2 off the shelf. Intel only distributes Loihi 2 as research hardware (Oheo Gulch single-chip boards and Kapoho Point 8-chip boards) to researchers via the Intel Neuromorphic Research Community (INRC) or through institutional partnerships. What I checked
- Intel’s documentation and press say Loihi 2 is a research chip and that Intel provides access to it (Oheo Gulch, Kapoho Point) for researchers — it’s not a commercial retail product. Intel+1
- Intel’s Hala Point deployment (1,152 Loihi 2 chips at Sandia) shows these chips are used in research/partnership projects rather than sold to the general market. Newsroom
- I searched common secondary/marketplaces and news/reseller channels and found no credible listings for Loihi 2 chips for sale to the public (no eBay/Surplus/Shop listings). If a chip ever appears for resale, it will be rare and likely subject to NDAs / transfer restrictions. eBay+1
- Join the Intel Neuromorphic Research Community (INRC). INRC membership / an approved research proposal is the primary route to remote or hardware access to Loihi 2 systems. Intel NCL

- Partner with companies / research groups already using Loihi 2 (joint projects, contract research, consulting).
- Use the Lava software stack and simulators. If you want to experiment with neuromorphic algorithms without hardware, Intel’s Lava framework and software simulators let you develop and prototype. Intel
