Hi @Bravo,
this is what our CTO Tony Lewis, who deals with LLMs professionally on a daily basis, thinks about Open AI’s claim that “GPT-5 is significantly less likely to hallucinate than our previous models”:

Your own opinion about GPT-5 is that “it has improved noticeably over its predecessor”, from which we can infer you must also believe hallucinations are now a much rarer issue, as this alleged improvement has been one of OpenAI’s main selling points with regard to their latest model.
In addition, you appear to be extremely confident about having the expertise to weed out the occasional hallucinations in the ChatGPT replies you get. At least those that relate to ChatGPT’s “main points”, which you claimed you would fact-check before sharing here on TSE “to ensure it’s not hallucinating”.
(How about hallucinations relating to minor points, though? Even inaccuarate minor points can distort our interpretation of things.)

So how come the following hallucination escaped your watchful eye?
Did you not consider ChatGPT’s claim that Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith sits on the Defense Subcommittee to be one of the “main points” of the LLM’s “in-depth explanation” that would require verification before posting?
Let me help you with the fact-checking, then:

Thank you!Three and a half pages of complete and utter waffle. What for???
Just to accuse Bravo of not having identified that a friend of a friend of someone’s cousin on their wife’s side isn’t on a sub-committee! Give me a break. It’s not even relevant!
I agree with Slade. That was one of the nastiest and most unnecessary posts I’ve seen on here in a while.
It comes across as bullying, plain and simple.
I rarely chime in on here because I’m more of an observer than an active participant, but your behaviour needs to be called out for what it is.
If the low quality posters could stop attacking the high quality posters, that'd be great

Soooo… do you think those buyers are now just for lunch and take a rest? Do you expect some uptrend later this day? No?I am really not sure how you get that assumption when there are substantial buys probably covering for the weekend in lead up to whatever is around the corner. But it may be one of your jokes which I never quite get.. I am gathering it is one of those.
Well that's a big demerit on your Participation score!HEY, I haven't attacked anyone!!!
Funny… here is no one asking if is Akida Inside …

Asking Chatty what's the chances
The chances of BrainChip's technology being in the latest Mercedes electric cars are very high, as Mercedes-Benz has already incorporated BrainChip's Akida neuromorphic chip into its Vision EQXX concept car, and has indicated that such systems will be available in market vehicles within a few years
