It is not being released. The company have confirmed it is not being released as they do not have attendee permission (just an excuse not to release). They clearly realise the damage it would do, if everyone could see Antonio's disgraceful behaviour at the AGM.

Sometimes meetings are streamed but it is also common for them not to be. I therefore don't see it as a red flag as such.

Yes, potentially. I find it difficult to gauge ambition from Linkedin profiles though. Everyone is putting their best foot forward and trying to sell themselves.

sorry, I don’t have any technical background, so I need to rely on what we’re being told by our company or others in this field.

In that same CES 2025 interview I quoted from in my previous post, Steve Brightfield said the following:

BRN attracts talented staff for the same reason we hold.
At the Pitt Street presentation during question time Sean said staff want to be part of something that changes the world and of course make a bit of money.
The talent is why we are the leader.

Only Akida actually has on-device learning. There has never been any proof of Loihi having the capability and IBMs tech has never been stated to.

But let the facts speak for themselves…

Here is a video by fortiss, the Research Institute of the Free State of Bavaria for Software-Intensive Systems, whose researchers have been working with Loihi and SpiNNaker for years and recently also partnered with both BrainChip and Innatera (https://thestockexchange.com.au/threads/brn-discussion-ongoing.1/post-454015).

The gesture recognition demo shown is run on Loihi 1.

“What we do here is on-the-fly learning from few examples - so, in the gesture case just a few seconds of presenting time - and as we want to implement this on neuromorphic hardware, we make use of the neuromorphic hardware’s plasticity processor, which enables learning with local signals, so implementation of local learning rules. In order to prevent catastrophic forgetting in the network, we only update the weights of the last layer of the network.

(…) So using this learning rule, we can implement on-chip adaptation to new classes. And as this happens directly on the neuromorphic processor, it can be implemented with only a very low latency and energy overhead. And this means that we can learn new classes in real-time during inference without interrupting the inference for specific learning procedure [sic].

(…) The third stage is the rapid on-chip learning layer, which is neuromorphic processor’s plasticity layer, and it enables learning only from short demonstrations, which can enhance accuracy and also enable personalisation of gestures.”

As for the others, they have never been boasted as having on device learning. Just because they may have been touted as neuromorphic doesn’t automatically mean they have any learning on chip! The learning associated with Akida is due to its architecture incorporating the JAST learning rule with STDP. Nothing else on the planet currently has this capability and BrainChip own the IP and patents. I am not aware of any technology other than BrainChips that actually doesn’t do anything more than brute force training off chip followed by inference on chip, that is why I’m fully invested in BrainChip and will continue to be so for as long as it takes. Albeit it’s taking bloody long… 🫤

This claim of yours is equally false.

While the individual on-chip learning capabilities differ from chip to chip (some of them seem to be very basic, although this is all far too technical for me to understand) and none of these capabilities are exactly like those of Akida (which certainly makes it unique in that sense), there are plenty of neuromorphic chips around that are claimed to have the capability to learn on-the-fly during inference, without having to be retrained in the cloud.

Also Sean put the road map slide up and said every customer asks to see a roadmap showing plans going forward.
The customer is betting their business on AKIDA as a differentiator. Once you are in you stay in.
He said BRN was the Edge leader right now and the vision was that they be for the next 20 years.
By the time quantum computing is big we will all be 'dead and buried.
Incidentally Sean said BRN's biggest risk was that we do not get the roadmap right.
The roadmap follows trends in models that need support. At the moment the trend is LLMs and SSMs.
Pick the wrong horse and its a problem.

That's the most informative post I've seen in a while. That statement from Sean explains a lot about the background negotiations going on. Hope the customers are interested in cortical columns. Looks like that is where we are heading next. The good thing is it is what is called a.sticky tech. Once you have a customer you have them for a long time.

Well, I'm so happy that Tech has had his little tête-à-tête with our founder and NED Peter van der Made.

Such a great conversation! I'm so very pleased, that Peter has explained what happened with Antonio at the AGM and you are very reassured, oh and thanks for passing that on to the rest of us shareholders.

I'm so pleased you found out about the Perth office closing and the $160,000 saving that the company is going to make (and that you know who made this decision and why).

I’m glad that from this conversation Tech thinks that customers have finally come to the realisation that the tech is great.

I'm thrilled that Peter confirmed that a Cortical Neural Network has been proven to work and is capable of Level 5 in autonomous driving. And I’m especially happy that you know that Akida 3 has been witnessed and is unbelievable and will be able to perform technologies so far advanced, that future products haven't even been thought of you, and that you can assure shareholders pressure is being put on company employees to close deals.

So great, for you Tech, but what about the other approx 45,000 shareholders who deserve to be kept in the loop? What about disseminating information in a way what complies with ASX continuous disclosure rules?

Peter van der Made clearly does not understand his fiduciary duties as a Non Executive Director on the ASX... if he did, he would never have divulged this information to you.

I'd go as far as to say the information on the Cortical Neural Network and Adkia 3 was not on the roadmap and is infact insider information.

Peter clearly has no idea about being a board member, and if he had any moral compass (or understanding of the legal responsibilities in his role as a NED) he would step down immediately.

For more than 3 years, shareholders have been crying out to BrainChip, telling them there is a problem with their IR. BrainChip know there is a problem with their IR (and have acknowledged this for years at previous AGM’s), but they chose to do absolutely nothing to fix it.

If shareholders are not up in arms about this and are not getting fired up and contacting BrainChip to let them of their dissatisfaction and anger, then it seems to me that some shareholders may unfortunately have become infected with the same disease that is endemic at BrainChip…. complacency….

It would be best if he left the company, as his behavior is damaging to the business.

Beyond a very rudimentary conception I doubt whether many on here would have understood many of the ramifications of such technology but given Peter's expertise and interests it didn't seem to surprise anyone, not looking to be surprised.

It's not about the information it's about how it was released (or should I say NOT released to all shareholders).

I expect ALL shareholders to be kept up to date, not just a few.

If the BOD can’t handel an AGM in Australia in a professional manner, then they are definitely not ready for an AGM anywhere else and the responsibilities that would come with such a move. The BOD need to lift their game fast if we are ever to showcase Brainchip on the world stage.

We've known that Carnegie Mellon under John Shen, have been researching, designing and testing C3S since like 2023. And yes, they were using Akida but who knows what other chips / processors they may have been using too. (Refer post link below).

In the context of what PVDM said or Techs posted understanding of what was said, does not mean BRN have developed it and thus why would we need a release?

If could well just be a comment in conversation that "a" C3S (anyones) has been shown to work in research, no more no less.

I think "sales"has always reported directly to Sean. He told me at the AGM get-together that his day starts at 4am and every Monday is a sales meeting to track strategy and progress. He struck me as a serious dude who knows how it's done and what it takes having cultivated the skillset himself...
