BRN Discussion Ongoing

I feel like we are the embarrassing old friends at the party.
BRN has now much cooler friends.
When we walk in on a conversation (AGM) everyone goes quite; we couldn't possibly understand. It's best if we don't know who they are rubbing shoulders with, polite introductions and pleasantries.

PVDM is loyal but his influence is not what it was and he is tired, he remembers when we were friends, how we took part in the adventure and supported each other. He is conflicted.
His new friend Antonio keeps telling him you don't need these guys anymore, they are holding you back, your dream is bigger than them, it's tough but you will have to ditch them.

Sean is torn, he is honest, competent and hard working - but the GLORY, the GLORY.

The others at the party, understand life is tough and unfair, however sacrifices must be made or it's not my business or they really are just hangers on or I'm just here to play guitar in the band. I'm not responsible, I just want the music to be great.

On the other hand, they might be protecting us for our own good and I might be paranoid.

Otherwise,

This joke is killing me :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm happy to convert and upload to youtube - please let me know?
Thanks if you don’t mind and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was FF that requested the video not be posted online.

@Wickedwolf. not directed at you.. but people can think whatever they like, and I don't need to convince anyone, that's their choice.. but the question still remains.. if this report is fiction, why would BrainChip publish the report on all of their social media channels?

@Wick
Why would they do this because they are not very good business people.

Has anyone asked the company if they commissioned the report. It would shut this down straightaway.
I tried to ask but T only Dawe is on holidays atm or away from the office and not answering

I believe BRN commissioned the report.
The report was for Wholesale Investors and not Retail Investors - see Disclaimer section at the end. That is why it seems terribly complicated.
There are a number of different valuations depending on what methodology you prefer.
They settle on $1 which is the weighted average of the Bull/Base/Bear case. That is not my preffered method.

The Trim report is intended for the Wholesale Market and not the retail market (see the last page Disclaimers etc).
Wholesale individuals are high worth and are assumed to have expertise therefore they do not have the same legal protection as retailers. They do however enjoy access to opportunities that retailers do not get. See link below.
The report being aimed at wholesale funds is complex in some areas and can be difficult for some retailers to understand.
Obviously BRN is trying to get Wholesale funds to get high net worth individuals on the Register.
In relation to the report see page 18 for their acquisition value of $A0.93 cents using the Acquisition Valuation method.
See page 19 for their Real Options value of $US1.32 which is $A2.07.
If you are a bull then they value the SP at $US1.22 or $1.93 per share - see page 15.
Trim settled on a $A1.00 SP value using a weighted average of the bull/base/bear case valuations so its just an average target price. This is certainly not my preferred method of valuation.
I prefer to use the lowest value methodology (Acquisition Valuation) of 93 cents because the events they based it on actually occurred and not estimates of cash flows/revenue etc..
Then Trim give Wholesalers a wonderful table of complicated SP values based on sensitivity analysis.
Everyone will have their own preferred valuation method.

Yes, a weighted average. Yet my intuition says it's either going to boom or bust, rather than sit at the average scenario. Just a matter of when.
