Hi Dingo. It's funny, Boeing doesn't have a real "military" feel to me, more of a passenger jet thing..
Whereas "Lockheed" Martin, has an obvious pedigree.
Makes more sense, when you know that McDonnell Douglas, merged into Boeing, in 1997..
I took your advise and dug a little deeper into the history of Boeing and concede your point that many of the aircraft that earlier paragraph mentions were the products of other companies subsequently absorbed into Boeing.
Although I would hardly call the B17 flying fortress, B29 super fortress or the B52 strato fortress "passenger jet thing's".
I'll let you argue with Boeing as to the semantics of what they claim as "their" pedigree but you can see that after also absorbing Hughes and Northrop and doubtless myriad other smaller fish, over the years, McDonnell Douglas was just part of the picture.
Anyway, Trump seems to think they "feel" military enough so I guess you better fall in line.

It is a royal decree after all.
