Whereas "Lockheed" Martin, has an obvious pedigree.

Makes more sense, when you know that McDonnell Douglas, merged into Boeing, in 1997..

Although I would hardly call the B17 flying fortress, B29 super fortress or the B52 strato fortress "passenger jet thing's".

I'll let you argue with Boeing as to the semantics of what they claim as "their" pedigree but you can see that after also absorbing Hughes and Northrop and doubtless myriad other smaller fish, over the years, McDonnell Douglas was just part of the picture.

Anyway, Trump seems to think they "feel" military enough so I guess you better fall in line.
It is a royal decree after all.

In the past, we’ve made a lot of speculations about possible connections between our partners and the big players… While I do find it interesting in general, after so many misinterpretations, I’m no longer convinced that this is of any help to us, especially since Arm doesn’t have only BrainChip in its portfolio. I don’t even pay attention to such news anymore. Only when something official comes from BrainChip or when other companies mention BrainChip directly. Otherwise, it only leads to disappointment. And eventually to the dolci syndrome.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still positive and keep buying more. However, these kinds of reports are not decisive for me. It’s like when you were a kid, and someone promised to buy you something or take you to a certain amusement park the next day, just to keep you calm. At some point, you get old enough to realize it was just empty words… The biggest letdown of all: Santa Claus.

Sadly, Boeing have lost its way years ago.

Before, their planes were extremely well engineered, like the 747.

Well Dingo, if you mean that both passenger planes and military planes tend to have wings, engines and a fuselage you are absolutely correct.
Physics, available materials and engineering techniques as well as intended application tend to dictate the way they tend to be connected.
But none of this has anything much to do with Brainchip so will leave this at that.

Trump says the key to success is a merit-based system. Well, if that’s true, I guess his ”best people“ are just really, really good at being born rich, white and male.

There is always going to be a larger percentage of white males, in most pools of personnel resources, so there will always be a higher percentage in those jobs, that fit the bill.

Having DEI policies, for those reasons, will not secure the "best" people for the job.

People should not be "excluded" or "included" based on their genetics, sexual preferences, gender identity or whatever either.

That is why a pure Merit based system, is the best way.

DEI is a policy that "means well" but is BS and destructive to levels of competency, in practice.

Just my opinions

And Trump, has plenty of strong intelligent women around him and in his cabinet, so I'm not sure what the whole "white male" thing is about ..
