Gotta say I wasn't too into the VR world until I recently got my 13yo son a Meta Quest 3 for xmas.....over the last week I have realised if we are even 1% involved in this space we are on a winner. The Snapdragon XR2 from Qualcomm runs smooth as silk........can't even imagine what is to come.......as I said........1% will do

I've been interested in VR for quite some time. I've owned the first two generations of the Meta Quest (formerly Oculus) HMDs and recently acquired the Quest 3s. They have put a lot of refinement on the experience and friction required to use VR, and the pass-through on this generation is amazing. The Windows 11 feature to add virtual monitors is the icing on the cake, especially if you want to increase your desk space.

For the HMDs, I can see several applications for BrainChip's technology. 1. security, either through vision or voice recognition; 2. voice commands and keyword spotting; 3. object recognition and identification; 4. eye tracking for foveated rendering; 5. Image rendering enhancement; and 6. gesture recognition. I think even a single AKD1000 could perform more than one of these tasks at once, while being a size that could easily fit within current HMDs, contribute little to heat generation, and use less power than current AI solutions.

It's just a matter of getting their foot in the door if they haven't already.

I wasn’t expecting to hold it so soon after celebrating our 30 cent party but I’m certainly not complaining.

I might need some volunteers to help me clean out the tub. You’ll have to bring some Draino and a pair of tweezers with you because there’s a few prawns and a cocktail sausage stuck in the pump.
