In BrainChip’s news release announcing their University AI Accelerator Program they state that The Program successfully completed a pilot session at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) this past spring semester and will be officially launching with Arizona State University in September … with a further 5 expected to participate.

I had never heard of Carnegie Mellon University so I took to google as any fine researcher does these days and I’ve come away very impressed.

CMU is a private research university.

If you search for top colleges / schools / universities for teaching computer science, Carnegie Mellon University repeatedly appears in the top 3 in America.

… the college is perhaps best known for its School of Computer Science. CMU is currently tied for second place on the US News and World Report’s ranked list of top schools for computer science in the country.

More specifically, the college’s programs for artificial intelligence and programming language are known as the very best in the country…

CMU is also known for its engineering program, which is currently tied for fourth in the national college rankings.

• July was the highest revenue generating month of 2022
• The US hard to borrow equity market pushes revenues higher
• Fixed income continues to see strong demand
• Corporate bonds are in for an impressive 2022

Revenues in Asian equities were down 8% YoY to $165m. Average balances and average fees also saw a decline. Australia was the standout market in Asia with revenues increasing 74% YoY and 8% MoM. Three stocks in Australia generated over 30% of the market's returns alone (Brainchip Holdings Ltd, Core Lithium Ltd and Lake Resources Nl). Taiwan continued to be the highest revenue generating market in the region, accounting for circa 30% of all Asian equity revenues for the month. Average fees increased 8% YoY to 2.74% which is the highest level seen this year. The value of average on loan balances were down 12% YoY, which is a net positive when compared to the 21% decrease in the value of the TWSE 50 over the same period. South Korea experienced a slight increase in revenues when compared to June (+7%) even though they declined 24% YoY. Average balances were also down YoY along with average fees. Despite this, the highest generated equity within Asia during July was Korean, Lg Energy Solution Ltd (BNSP8W5), which generated over $5.8m USD over the month. Given the recent decision by the FSC to tighten the oversight of short selling activity in the country balances and fees are subject to uncertainty going into the second half of 2022 in this market.

This is a Carnegie Lemon patent for an autonomous vehicle from 2018 which uses segregated CNN and LSTM:

So what does this tell me @Sirod69 ? Renesas has created an interface chip using the brute force of data centres via the Cortex-A55 and is edge capable via the Cortex-M33 which is Akida compatible?

They (also uni Bern in Switzerland, home of Bonseyes) managed to talk for two hours about the state of affairs and what is not yet possible today. I thought easily 20 times about it, hey! do you know as a researcher actually not Akida? The webinar was full of ignorance about the state of things whether on purpose or not. I have even prepared a letter but not sent. I don't think that makes any sense. All you have to do is type neuromorphic and spiking neural into Google and you'll inevitably come up with Brainchip. Anyway, I think it is very important that Akida be distributed to universities. I still shake my head. Who wants to hear it from my German compatriots:
