BRN Discussion Ongoing

If we can close over .30c the next run could be up to .50c, hopefully some loose lips surrounding an announcement and we could hear that soon!

Fingers, toes and eyes crossed...🤞

Remember the demos at the recent Edge AI Summit showing the fridge, dishwasher and air-fryer. Samsung make all of those appliances and I beleive they all have a touch screen, so why not?

Let's just hope that the upcoming 4C is a vast improvement to the last one so as to keep this s/price momentum sustainable and ongoing till the next ASX announcement of an IP Agreement being entered into.

SEOUL, October 4 (AJP) – Samsung Electronics unveiled its vision for applying artificial intelligence across all product lines during its annual developers’ forum in the United States on Thursday.

The 10th Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) attracted around 3,000 developers, partners and media representatives in San Jose, California, under the theme, “AI for All – A Decade of Open Innovation and Beyond.”

The Korean tech giant announced plans to unify the software experience across mobile devices, TVs and home appliances under the "One UI" brand, promising up to seven years of software upgrades.

Samsung emphasized the integration of on-device AI, which processes data directly on the device, with high-performance cloud AI to optimize user experiences while enhancing privacy and security.

“In the future, Samsung devices will recognize who is speaking and deliver a customized experience. What’s more, connected devices and sensors throughout the home will be able to recognize your location, providing another level of personalization,” said Han Jong-hee, CEO of the Device Experience Division, during his keynote speech.

“As Samsung has the widest range of devices, from mobile to TVs and home appliances, I believe we are best positioned to provide this customized AI experience.”

Samsung showcased AI-driven features for various products, including Galaxy AI for mobile devices, AI-powered home appliances like the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator, and AI-enhanced TV experiences.

The company also highlighted the evolution of its Tizen operating system and SmartThings platform, which now boasts over 350 million registered users and 340 certified partner companies.

The conference featured presentations on Samsung's AI research directions, security technologies, and B2B solutions. Partners like Kohler and Dexcom discussed collaborations in water usage monitoring and personalized health management. Samsung’s C-Lab startups also participated, showcasing innovative technologies in AI commerce, audio AI, and decentralized biometric authentication.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Samsung announced the mass production of its new PM9E1 solid-state drive (SSD) for PCs, featuring industry-leading performance and capacity. The SSD, based on PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) 5.0 technology, features an 8-channel controller and 8th generation V-NAND, delivering sequential read and write speeds of up to 14.5GB/s and 13GB/s, respectively. This performance improvement enables efficient loading of large language models (LLMs) used in AI applications.

The PM9E1 is available in capacities of up to 4TB, making it suitable for AI-generated content, high-resolution images and videos, and gaming. It also incorporates enhanced security features, including the SPDM 1.2 standard, to prevent supply chain attacks. Samsung plans to expand supply to major global PC manufacturers and aims to strengthen its leadership in the on-device AI market with future consumer PCIe 5.0 SSD products.

"high performance cloud AI" is a bit of a downer.

Nevertheless, it would make sense to have the inference/classification done on device. Someone should give them a ring ...

I am wondering how everyone is going to feel when things really start to get moving, and the na sayers stop shooting Sean down

I just wonder how the hot steamy copper pot will boil with silence from the group of downers

And everyone else will have troubles trying to wipe the smirks off their faces
And not really believing what they see
Let’s hope we can get like Pro Medics which is a stock I looked into when I first started to invest
It was around $19 dollars at the time
But I just had the feeling that Brainchip would do better.

I believe it’s on the way and in 5 years time if we still have the advantage omg look out world

Who's feeling a 0.30 close ??

The wall keeps being placed, many must be getting rather "edgy" as our technology continues to advance,
I'm not 100% sure that we are still following the AKD 3...AKD 4...AKD 5....path anymore, but if we are, well then
AKD III must be relatively close, as a guess...8 months off...around the next AGM ??

Even better to close on the daily high buena suerte, technically that is a good look along with the high volume, so we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Pico has no doubt created more interest and media coverage than anything BRN has managed previously - including the Mercedes announcement. There is clearly significantly more awareness of BRN in the marketplace, this can only be attributed to the technical prowess embodied in what BRN is offering now, and also the work of the sales team and Sean.

Go BRN

Mercedes was 2021 dude.
Slight correction i believe it was January 2022 cause I was overseas at the time it occured.
100% it was Jan 2022 (y)
Yup got my dates wrong. Knew it was about 3 years ago now, as I'd just started dating my now fiance. I know this because I started spending WAY to much money on dates and upgrading all my furniture thinking we'd made it. Been paying off my credit card ever since 😄

Actually, depending on the perspective, it appears all three of you were right 😊:

While the official reveal by Mercedes-Benz, which proved to be the catalyst for the BRN share price subsequently skyrocketing, was via a press release dated 3 January 2022 (Central European Time) on the occasion of CES 2022…

… an online article of a popular German car magazine called auto motor und sport had already leaked Akida being the reason for the VISION EQXX’s highly energy-efficient “Hey, Mercedes!” hotword detection on the penultimate day of 2021, citing one of the MB engineers, Ingo Kreuz:

It was an English translation of the above article’s paragraph framed in yellow 👆🏻 that a HC forum user from Germany posted early in the morning of 4 January 2023 (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time) to the delight of genuine BRN shareholders. That translated passage also showed up in the ASX Investor’s same-day video about the BRN & MB reveal - this time, however, without the source provided:
