Smartphone giants like Samsung are going to talk up 'AI phones' this year — here's what that means — CNBC
Smartphone makers such as Samsung will talk up artificial intelligence on their phones this year. But what exactly is an AI smartphone?
The other big part of the AI smartphone puzzle is the term "on-device AI." Previously, many AI applications on devices were actually partly processed in the cloud, then downloaded onto the phone. But advanced chips and the ability for large language models to effectively become smaller are likely to drive more AI applications to be run solely in the device, rather than in a data center.
"I think one of the big stories at MWC will be the ability of the AI models too run natively on the devices themselves and that is where it potentially starts to become a bit more of a gamechanger," Ben Wood, chief analyst at CCS Insight, told CNBC.
Smartphone makers say on-device AI improves the security of gear, unlocks new applications and also makes them faster, since the processing is done on the handset.

I belive that this is the core of the new phone "without" apps which will be presented at the WMC. I also belive that this phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

BrainChip has recently opened preorders for their Akida Edge AI Box, built in partnership with VVDN Technologies. This box features an NXP i.MX 8M Plus SoC and two Akida AKD1000 neuromorphic processors for low-latency, high-throughput AI processing at the edge.
The system features USB 3.0 and micro-USB ports, HDMI, 4GB LPDDR4 memory, 32GB eMMC with up to 1TB micro-SDXC expansion, dual-band Wi-Fi, and two gigabit Ethernet ports for external camera connections, all within a compact, passively-cooled chassis, powered by 12V DC.

In 2022, Intel introduced its Neuromorphic AI accelerator, Loihi 2, and we also saw Raspberry Pi-based development kits with BrainChip AKD1000 SoC. Both technologies rely on spiking neural networks (SNN) to achieve high-performance, real-time inference with significantly lower power consumption compared to traditional AI chips that use CNN (convolutional neural network) technology.

Now some posters may start to REALLY UNDERSTAND the true value of Peters et al worldwide patents, their value will only ever be
truly realized when or if a takeover offer appears on the table, that's when Peters "tree of knowledge" will truly display all of it's

Apple is currently using LLM to completely revamp Siri into the ultimate virtual assistant and is preparing to develop it into Apple's most powerful killer AI app.
This integrated development effort is actively underway, and the first product is expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2024, with plans for it to be standard on the iPhone 16 models and onwards.
WWDC usually takes place in the first or second week of June.
