BRN Discussion Ongoing

Esq.111

Fascinatingly Intuitive.
Afternoon Chippers ,

Regarding the Short position....

I posted this a while ago , these are my thoughts on what may be going on.
Naturally there would be many small independent Shorters .

One way a big company could potentially F@%k with a far smaller one.

Regards,
Esq.

I'm Spartacus!
I'd really like to know where the heck they will find the 101 mill shares to buy back on a whiff of good news 🤔 seriously... I'd be shitting myself if I was them now. Volume is crazy low as it is. Perhaps some will dump on 100% profit but what of all the conservative investors who will also want to buy in on positive news etc etc...I see this hitting 5 dollars or something stupid just to cover shorts... unless they bail out slowly but the numbers aren't showing they are just yet.
When this particular worm turns its going to be epic.
Cant wait for this next ride. 🤣

I'd be paying closer attention from now and over the next couple of months. The only anti-dote to shorters is the short term prospect of consistent sustainable increasing revenue. Revenue and it's direction in the short to medium term is all they care about. PLS is the most shorted stock on the ASX and CHI-X. PLS's revenue hasn't stopped, just decreased because of lithium prices. They're still making decent coin.

It's why they ignored the recent release of the new version of Akida. It had zero affect on the short term revenue outlook. If they begin quietly and consistently buying back in the next few months, it will be a leading indicator in which they believe consistent sustainable revenue is around the corner.

I would seriously question the motives/agendas of those advocating for a second strike…
I just follow the flow

Judging from the email @Schnitzel lover received from Tony, I believe Tony is extremely confident of avoiding a second strike.

To flip it around, I look at it as though Tony is basically confirming that if BrainChip fails to achieve further commercialisation and revenue before the next AGM then a second strike is warranted.

Only someone who was absolutely confident of being able to meet the terms described in order to avoid any prospect of a second strike would write this IMO. And, if anything it lends further confidence to things moving in the right direction in a "sooner" time-frame.

Watch the financials.. Late January and H2 2023 release in Feb or March..

New IP signings seem to be the most likely material engagements before the AGM..

See what happens

Progda..........correct on the SHORTER buyback. I Believe it is currently in play.

PLS issue being heavily shorted (20%) though is possibly not related as such to the normal ASX aussie traders.

ELON MUSK recently stated that 70% of all Lithium TESLA uses comes from AUSTRALIA! Only 2 companies supplying that and PLS is the main source.
SO.......in the dog eat dog world which we live in...........it is much "Cheaper" and easier to interfere with the SUPPLY CHAIN to Tesla to cause TESLA issues than it is to attack Tesla stock itself.
WHO would have a vested interest in doing so??
Any and ALL Oil companies, Middle East interests, Car company competitors etc etc. AND it would cost peanuts to do so! Gotta keep the Oil flowing!
It would also be a possible way for Shorters to benefit Shorting of Tesla stock. Small investment Shorting PLS and MASSIVE profits Shorting TESLA. win/win.

Surprised that Elon or TESLA have not bought out PLS to secure their supply chain of Lithium, would make sense.

Or Merc uses Akida in their brand new 2024 vehicles using the MMA platform, the full blown version of MB.OS, enhanced MBUX, enhanced ADAS and 4 microcontrollers for the first time. They begin being released in the 1st quarter of 2024 and further models rolled out during the year.
Hard to see. If, on the other hand we see an announcement before June 2024 stating that Valeo or Luminar or similar are investing $100M into Brainchip to make it happen, then it's game on.

Otherwise the board can pack up their personal belongings and we can start afresh. Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear but that's the risk we all are taking imho.

Hey Labsy,

I assume you’re taking the Mickey here?

I’ll answer the question anyway.

There’ll be plenty of shareholders ready to take their money out if they can get to breakeven.. Since it’s likely that anyone who bought in the last 2 years is anywhere between +25% ahead to -90% in the red. There’s your sellers right there.. Not to mention any value traders who bought in over the last month, will be happy to book in 100,200,300% profits also soaking up that short cover volume..

All that will happen well before the 50c mark IMO
