BRN Discussion Ongoing

Sam

Nothing changes if nothing changes
This literally has nothing... like all of your posts tonight... to do with BRN.

Why tonight. Why more rubbish than usual?

Vodafone announces new Open RAN chipset collaboration with Arm

Vodafone today announced plans to fast-track the development of new platforms for Open Radio Access Networks (Open RAN) using the Arm® architecture.

Zach Shellby (Tech Impulse) likes the above announcement via LinkedIn after a couple of hours after announcing by Vodaphone

Also refer to the below article earlier in the year linked to above

Extract from link above
A key benefit of using general-purpose processors to implement open RAN/vRAN is that the same platforms can be used to support AI inference and other applications at the far edge of the network, such as cell site routers (CSRs) and content delivery and hosting. These edge platforms can be used to host virtualized applications closer to the user, offering significant benefits in terms of lower latency and shared infrastructure

So anyone feel some BRN tech might be behind this advancement using ARM architecture?

If not, let’s get the burning bin gif out and get rid of this post

Cheers

So, apart from your comment being the equivalent of the nigeran prince email I just sent to spam, why should everyone currently invested in BRN all be waiting with baited breath for the new Nintendo Switch?

Top 20

The other thing the Snapdragon X chips will have in common with M1-and-up SOCs is a neural processing unit (Apple calls its own version the Neural Engine) designed for on-device AI processing in small form factor devices. Senior VP Don McGuire calls it “a quantum leap forward in performance and power efficiency” that will enable on-device experiences “for the new era of generative AI.”

ASX close at 20 cents translates to 12.8 cents US

Nasdaq BRCHF closed at 13.42 cents US at the low on moderate volume. The high was 14.1 cents US

So there was a willingness to pay up. We will soon see if that was prudent.

But if we are on our way to $1.00 (pick your currency)......

Quibble, quibble...niggle, niggle

Based on my analysis and calculations (not advice) we should see the SP go to $5.70, by May 24 :)
Wow. If that happens I'll be a mega millionaire.. Do you know something we don't? Please share and help your comrades. Thanks a million !!!

Pessimist in me thinks it's a bull trap and we'll have a bit of a pullback/correction which is totally healthy.
Edit: pullback/correction over the next week before the next leg up.

Oh and I'm excited for the new Nintendo switch.

Brainchip. -------> megachips -------> Nintendo switch.

BrainChip and Circle8 Clean Technologies/AVID Group Work to Reduce and Recycle Waste Through Joint Development of Intelligent ‘Smart Bins’

Wed, October 11, 2023 at 8:00 AM GMT+11

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., October 10, 2023--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, ADR: BCHPY), the world’s first commercial producer of ultra-low power, fully digital, event-based, neuromorphic AI IP, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Circle8 Clean Technologies and AVID Group to develop "Smart Bins" that can automatically sort and recycle different types of waste through a combination of AI-powered sensors and robotics.

The collaboration leverages BrainChip’s neuromorphic processor technology and AVID Group’s engineering expertise to create intelligent waste receptacles that can sort materials such as plastic, metal, and glass to help reduce the environmental impact of disposal, especially reducing landfill and minimizing ocean pollution. The goal extends to increasing the recycling rates at the same time, lowering the costs of waste management and recycling. Additionally, the smart bins will provide valuable data and insights into waste generation and consumption patterns, which can be used to improve refuse reduction and identify mitigation strategies.

"We are delighted to work with BrainChip to develop intelligent smart bins addressing our next generation global initiative," said Mark Grogan, Managing Director, Circle8 Clean Technologies. "As a company that is committed to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, we are always looking for innovative ways to reduce our environmental footprint and enhance our community engagement. There are potentially millions of bins worldwide that we believe can be and should be upgraded with advanced intelligence to help all of us achieve the goal of making waste management and, more importantly, plastic recycling more convenient, efficient, and eco-friendly."

The collaboration between BrainChip, Circle8 Clean Technologies and AVID Group is part of a larger initiative to create smart cities that use AI and IoT technologies to enhance the quality of life, efficiency of services and sustainability of urban environments. The jointly created smart bins will first be available to municipalities in Australia before expanding into additional locations worldwide.

"We are extremely excited to partner with the Circle8 and AVID Group to apply our neuromorphic processor technology to the challenge of sustainable waste management," said Rob Telson, VP Ecosystems and Partnerships at BrainChip. "Akida™ is ideal for Edge AI applications that require cost-effective, ultra-low power, intelligent, real-time processing. At BrainChip, we see a global opportunity to enable innovative solutions that radically improve recycling and waste management, more effectively and intelligently than ever before."
