BRN Discussion Ongoing

Heartbreaking to think that a couple of years ago we had recent customer announcements, Mercedes were posting about us, had a SP over $2, and all the prospects in the world.

It was honestly unimaginable to me how far we’d fall, not just in SP, but in literally every facet in this companies existence - customers, revenue, volume. I just looked at my portfolio, and the reality of our situation hit me.

Fucking grim.

We need a miracle with AKD2000.
Based on Shortman 4mill shorts were covered between Aug 28-30th.
By my basic assumptions, BRN's price gain was about 10%.
Missed between then and now on daily short sales, but logging them daily now..
Yesterday was 200,831 reported.

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Certainly is very interesting that Mercedes never mentioned Qualcomm in relation to voice control in the EQXX. What they did say though is that BrainChip’s solution was 5× to 10× more efficient than conventional voice control when spotting the wake word “Hey Mercedes.”

Hi Bravo,

I may have mentioned this before, but I think the reason "Hey Mercede" NN saves so much energy is that it is always on, that is, it has to process all in vehicle sounds to see if they are "Hey Mercedes".

So doing that with standard CNN software or Synsense or other NN would use a lot more power.

And stop me if I've mentioned this before, Qualcomm have a lot of in-house NN patents.

That said they use clunky MAC maths which would be orders of magnitude more power hungry than Akida:

US2020073636A1 MULTIPLY-ACCUMULATE (MAC) OPERATIONS FOR CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORKS

1693977190491.png

[0018] FIG. 6 is a block diagram of an integrated circuit device illustrating a compute unit including a multiply-accumulate (MAC) cell configured to perform fast MAC operations by leveraging padding types and their properties in convolutional networks (CNNs), according to aspects of the present disclosure.

[0032] The SOC 100 may also include additional processing blocks tailored to specific functions, such as a GPU 104 , a DSP 106 , a connectivity block 110 , which may include fifth generation (5G) connectivity, fourth generation long term evolution (4G LTE) connectivity, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and the like, and a multimedia processor 112 that may, for example, detect and recognize gestures. In one implementation, the NPU is implemented in the CPU, DSP, and/or GPU. The SOC 100 may also include a sensor processor 114 , image signal processors (ISPs) 116 , and/or navigation module 120 , which may include a global positioning system.

So, yes, Qualcomm need Akida, but ...

Now wouldn't it be interesting if, because of our work with Mercedes, we turned out to be partners with Nvidia and Qualcomm.

Bravo I respect your work so much, but I think we have to stop digging and looking for dots.
You/ We've found so many connections over the years but nothing at all eventuated to something material.
It's just time that the company finally delivers. The initial date for revenue was end of 2022. Now everyone acts like it has always been 2024 – 2025.

The last months I received a lot of backlash. I turned from this excited investor who believes in the technology (what I still do btw it's the management that I find highly uncapable) into someone who's very critical in his posts.
The responses are always the same. Either, the shorters are blamed for everything. Or it's just fine losing 80%+ of a company's value.
What I'm saying is that the share price is a consequence of the capability of our management. And they failed massively.
Someone on this forum even said he'd bet his life that we are involved with Valeo. Backed up was this claim by some reactions of the presenter during a presentation when asked if Akida was inside. Or something similar, I don't know what the correct wording was.
Well now we know we're not as literally everyone moved away from our failed first gen product, seemingly even Mercedes Benz who were very outspoken.

Now it's time for the management to finally achieve something material. If that happens we can start looking for dots again. Up until this point I'll never take any dot serious, no matter how convincing it could be.

Just saw one of our our employees that I follow on instagram liking Kim Kadarshian's post.
Now I am not saying she must be involved with Akida. But I am not saying she is NOT invovled at all.
To me this is exciting news regardless.
Anyway no need to keep your eyes on her insta page or our SP.
DYOR YMMV

So your suggestion for us here at TSEx is the following:
  1. Stop finding instances where Akida may be involved such as Nasa, Valeo, Renesas etc
  2. Post repetitively about our opinions towards management
Is that correct? Sounds like a fun place to be and super helpful too!

I'm not going to respond properly to the bit about Valeo and a "failure" first gen, instead, you may have this gif:

On a positive note, he did offer a glimmer of hope that we could one day again start looking for dots. I was pleased about that.

I regret to inform you that I am unable to comply with your request due to a personality disorder that I suffer from that makes me a bit dotty.😝

But, what I can do is ask you if you think there'a anything a bit weird about the timeline of events listed below. I mean if Snapdragon Digital Chassis was so brilliant at voice control, why didn't Markus Shafer toot about Qualcomm on his linked blog, which was AFTER Mercedes partnered with Qualcomm on its Snapdragon Digital Chassis Solutions?

  • Jan 2022 - “Working with California-based artificial intelligence experts BrainChip, Mercedes-Benz engineers developed systems based on BrainChip’s Akida hardware and software,” Mercedes noted in a statement describing the Vision EQXX. “The example in the Vision EQXX is the “Hey Mercedes” hot-word detection. Structured along neuromorphic principles, it is five to ten times more efficient than conventional voice control,” the carmaker claimed.
  • Sep 2022 - Mercedes and Qualcomm Collaborate to power upcoming Mercedes vehicles with Snapdragon Digital Chassis Solutions
  • Oct 2022 - Markus Shafer (Mercedes CTO) asks everyone to vote on a poll in which neuromorphic computing wins the vote
  • Jan 2023 - Markus Shafer published his blog on Neuromorphic Computing in which he mentions BrainChip and the amasing efficiency of the voice control in the EQXX
  • Sep 2023 - Qualcomm announced it's Snapdragon Digital Chassis will enhance voice control in both BMW and Mercedes vehicles

I know trolls like you and damo will try anything to ridicule critical posts and god forbid post something productive.
So just as a reminder it was our German Forum who found the Ant61 connection and it was me who published it on this forum. The only actual real dot with a use case that’s open for everyone to see. Not a possible nda/ dot/ connection woulda coulda shoulda. It was the post that made our retired fact finder show up again. That poor guy put in so much work for nothing and I hope he’s fine…
But I’m out. Have fun laughing at anyone who’s critical.

So an announcement between Valeo and MobileEye who do software is enough for you to be convinced that Brainchip isn’t involved, and all of a sudden scala3 which hits the market 2024 which took 3-4 years to develop, design, put get it into prototype and go through all the safety criteria and it’s not us?
Despite our joint development agreement with them? Despite how it takes years to get to market? LOL.

Get used to it, some companies are not going to announce us until the very very last phase of the agreement, just like the photo @Bravo posted earlier about Qualcomm, just like Antonio said the other day in the second podcast if you bothered to listen to it.

I will. Especially when I read comments like:

"literally everyone moved away from our failed first gen product" - they have?
"even Mercedes Benz who were very outspoken" - they did?
"Now it's time for the management to finally achieve something material" - they haven't?
"If that happens we can start looking for dots again" - well, thank you
"Up until this point I'll never take any dot serious" - what?
"the shorters are blamed for everything" - they are?
"Or it's just fine losing 80%+ of a company's value." - it is???
"It's just time that the company finally delivers." - they aren't??
"Now everyone acts like it has always been 2024 – 2025." - they are??

What the hell are you yabbering on about?

Who is this "everyone" you speak of?
Who said Akida 1000 failed?
Mercedes mentioned Brainchip once when they revealed the EQXX concept car. Have they publicly stated that they have moved away from using Akida?

Also the company lost 80% of its value?
Did you honestly believe that the company was fairly valued at $2.34 per share when it hit those highs?

I remember when we hit $2.30 or whatever it was, there was a poster over on the crapper that sold out and said something along the lines of:
"Well that does it, cashed out... Time for me to ride off into the sunset. Later, dudes"
God I envy that person at the moment! Lucky bastard (or smart, probably the second one)
... I was actually a millionaire (on paper) for about 15 minutes lol
