All I have to say is;

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

Applies regardless of whether you are trading or investing.

Move on, nothing to see.
Watched a new movie on Netflix last night, the Adam project, with actor Adam Reynolds. Its a time travelling action movie. But the interesting part for me was when it came to the crunch and he's saving the world, he had to destroy a Neuromorphic hard drive to do this. Hollywood is now using the term in its movies.
The Adam Project is already on my to watch list. Now I have even more reason to watch it.

It is so nice seeing the term bantered around. Hopefully, one day, Akida will be as well known as Google. Although I still prefer the original, and still slightly obscure, googol.

Maybe a neuromphic hard drive is next on PVDM to do list after the Cortical columns. o_Oo_O
@skaggle you made me look up Cortical Columns as they pertain to the brain. I learnt something new today. Thanks.

And someone famously said “what’s a neuromorphic chip anyway?” LOL.

Thanks for sharing that @Rocket577.

It’s a long read @756 pages. I can’t promise to read it all.

I skimmed to the stuff relevant to companies I invest in. I do like that the report recommends considering long term investment in both quantum and neuromorphic computing. In that I 100% agree.

From Recommendations - the highlighting is mine.
Over the longer term, the United States must also continue its portfolio approach to future microelectronics pathways by investing in new materials and entirely new hardware approaches, such as quantum and neuromorphic computing.

But I feel this report is still living a little in the past in that it is talking about computing power to “mimic” the brain. This is so relatable to data centre and in-the-cloud type stuff. I.e. the stuff that will soon lose so much significance.

IMHO neuromorphic computing, although modelled on the way a brain works, does not need the limitation of ALL processing power residing in the one location, and of that central location co-ordinating a system of remote sensors and response mechanisms. AKA the body.

Neuromorphic Computing can be/needs to be MUCH more than that, and the way it is implemented in Akida means the concept of a centralised brain/computer is removed. With Akida, individual intelligence is moved to the edge, to the sensor and actuator that needs to respond to the stimmuli. Maybe edge computing is more akin to a smarter proprioceptive system, one that can learn and make its own decisions. That is the future, and that is what BrainChip brings to the table TODAY!

A big take-home message from this report is the lead-in paragraph:
“Americans have not yet grappled with just how profoundly the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution will impact our economy, national security, and welfare. Much remains to be learned about the power and limits of AI technologies.”

I assume this applies to us lesser humans too.

I agree with all the above but we have one emerging factor that's in our favour. For the last few weeks I have noticed, as I hope most others on this forum have also noticed, that BRN is in the news more often and in a positive light. Most times the news articles are old news to the 1000 eyes but they are new news to others outside our orbit. It is becoming apparent BRN have been very busy marketing Akida at an almost supersonic pace.

Sure we would love an announcement or two but as we wait, BRN is increasingly on many more lips and becoming known more broadly for the unrivalled value proposition that is Akida 1000. We have crossed the point where statements like 'what's a neuromorphic chip anyway' are behind us as are the idiots who mutter them. The ever increasing news regarding the Ai revolution that will usher in the worlds first trillionaires is gathering pace and BRN/Akida is in the thick of it.

Good luck to all, keep the faith, the last laugh is ours.

Spot on. No one is questioning if the technology actually works anymore even if they still don't understand it. What they are now struggling to understand is how much it is worth which is probably why sophisticated investors are waiting for BRN to sign a mass market contract so they can get their head around it. I know I am.

Confusion still reigns. Its just shifted.

Hi Proga
Can you explain what you mean by mass market contract?
Thanks

So the Mercedes S Class would not meet your definition as it is a low volume vehicle for example. FF

Or Samsung launches an advertising campaign saying they are releasing to market an entire revolutionary product range thanks to their partnership with Brainchip and implementation of AKIDA technology.

Then shit gets real when the general public goes 'AKIDA again! those things are everywhere' and Brainchip becomes a household name like IBM, TESLA, Mercedes, NASA. It gets even more real when the general consumer says 'yeah but does it have AKIDA in it?'

5 years from now..........?

UNLOCKING THE NEXT WAVE OF INTELLIGENT DEVICES

The opportunity of Edge AI is clear - it is bringing real-time, personalized, scalable, and secure AI to resource constrained devices, unlocking the next wave of intelligent devices.
Optimizing AI performance whilst operating economically at the edge remains the elusive holy grail. For four years, the Edge AI Summit has aided enterprise adopters, OEMs, AI software, and hardware providers in their pursuit of deploying AI at the edge, by helping them form partnerships that will improve the performance of embedded hardware, optimize models, and compress workloads to enable high-performing and low-footprint AI to exist at the edge.
The 5th Annual Edge AI Summit unites the technologists from around the world tasked with designing and developing real-world use cases that bring real-time and secure AI to low-power applications from the sensor-edge to device-edge, and to areas that have limited connectivity to the cloud.

Thanks N,

I was admiring the list of potential partners and shocked to see Brainchip aren’t listed in the AI hardware section!!!!

I’d express outrage but with Mr. Chip presenting there I’m sure they’ll be queued up to listen!

Who is Alexander Maconochie anyway?
If my memory serves me correct. There is a correctional centre by that name on the Cooma road. Loving the 1000 eyes.
