Sean Hehir...."...the company and myself should not be judged on effort, but results, with that said I look forward to standing before you next year to share all our progress and results from this next critical chapter of Brainchips journey.”
Robsmark...."There’s either results by May, or there isn’t."
My thoughts,....
1) "effort" to me is soft feel good stuff like, "we're visiting with X amount of companies" or "we have many meetings..." or " we have received favorable feedback" blah, blah, blah.
2) "progress and results" to me go together so that Sean can say positive results are happening due to positive progress. I know,....tastes great but less filling (think Miller Lite), right? What we're all looking for is a hearty amber ale served in May instead.
But look at the increasing circle of engagement with or involving Brainchip. These are postive results in my opinion. My gosh the ARM and Intel announcements alone are huge results. We should probably be paying Edge Impulse just for their public relations efforts alone on behalf of Brainchip.
And I had to blink a few times when I first read about some small company called VVDN and a "whoa" escaped my lips once I looked into them. And it goes on and on with too much we are all familiar with.
But here's the thing with a sales driven organization. You have got to have stuff in the tunnel, or pipeline. Lots of stuff. It is not what have you done for me recently, but what are you going to show me or do for me tomorrow. In this respect I believe Brainchip, and as a result Sean Hehir, have hit the proverbial home run in 2022. And if I were at the AGM in May I would give him and the team a standing O.
3) "next critical chapter of Brainchip's journey " Now I am really jacked up to hear him describe what in the heck a critical chapter in their journey is.
What could be more critical than profitability? The Brainchip story has been a great read so far but the critical chapter cannot come soon enough for me. dippY
