BRN Discussion Ongoing

I’m slightly biased but one section was basically an Akida advert 😉

Daimler listed on the big screen and sneaky Mercedes logo inclusions. Lots of ADAS, plans for in-house LIDAR and booming sales forecasts

Akida everywhere

This is something that's always puzzled me. On a Qantas flight to Europe, you can't smell the shiraz. I don't know whether it's because:
a) your nose stops working at altitude;
b) the wine does not emit aroma carrying molecules;
c) the wine has been in the fridge;
d) other;

but it is certainly worth a research paper.

The taste (gustatory) is fine, but the olfactory is missing.

So PvdM/Akida have a future project next time
Too late already

I believe they put charcoal in the seats of planes to absorb other gas smells. Maybe it absorbs the aroma of the wine.

Below from businesswire.com 24/02/2022

As a pioneer of automotive engineering, Mercedes-Benz sees shaping the future of mobility in a safe and sustainable way as both a motivation and obligation.

The company's focus therefore remains on innovative and green technologies as well as on safe and superior vehicles that both captivate and inspire.

Mercedes-Benz continues to invest systematically in the development of efficient powertrains and sets the course for an all-electric future: The brand with the three-pointed star pursues the goal to go all-electric, where market conditions allow. Shifting from electric-first to electric-only, the world’s pre-eminent luxury car company is accelerating toward an emissions-free and software-driven future.

The company's efforts are also focused on the intelligent connectivity of its vehicles, autonomous driving and new mobility concepts as Mercedes-Benz regards it as its aspiration and obligation to live up to its responsibility to society and the environment.

The following article provides a pretty good explanation about the impact the Russia/Ukraine war is or could potentially have on the semiconductor sector. Interesting read:
