Not a stupid question. He holds his and wife’s shares via a nominee account/s which I believe is HSBC but Robert Mitro the third original founder does as well and I get them mixed up as to which nominee account is which but I suppose that is the point of using nominee accounts.

Great timing on this post.

Judging by the 4C, the Megachips $2m was an ACCOUNTING ACCRUAL only.

For those that don't have an accounting background, this would mean that, from an accounting policy perspective, Brainchip have "accrued income" for the licensing fee, but have not yet invoiced Megachips so haven't recognised the $2m as a debtor.

I'm now wondering what the terms of the licensing agreement were, in regards to when Brainchip can invoice Megachips - ie. what milestone needs to be met before they can issue an invoice for the remaining $2m. I'm now guessing there was an agreed amount to be invoiced up front (which we've received) and then perhaps the balance to be invoiced upon Megachips successful commercialisation of a product containing akida? Royalties then also to be invoiced monthly thereafter based on sales volumes.

If anyone has experience with IP licensing and general terms you can expect in those sort of agreements it'd be great if you could divulge for the rest of us to better understand.

Looks like those minor engineering/support fees were only $118K.

Excluding the $2m not being reciepted, the rest is pretty well in line with what I was expecting.

As I didn't want to get abused, I am not entirely surprised. I read many posts on what the 4c would hold and thought, hmmmm this may well be a let down. I said in a post I'd be happy with $2 mill excluding licenses as I thought we'd be lucky with $1 mill. But this level is certainly a surprise. IMO this just shows that the IP is not in anything for sale yet, or no royalties are due till the sales do happen. People still working on their products. Hard to get royalties when nothing is sold. Anyway, it's easy to say in hindsight, but it's a lot safer, nothing has changed for me, but I'm not in a rush or trading many. Good luck holders, hopefully no emotional selling tomorrow....

End of the day we're all hoping for a win sadly this one today wasn't it,

I am still a believe in and full faith in Brainchip.. I am still planning on hold long-term. In a few years time no one here will care or talk about or mention this moment.

We WILL have a moment one day!

8 quarters of funding. That's 2 years assuming no increase in revenue.
We still also have a draw down to go with LDA Capital - not exactly sure how much to come as it's been a while but I do know @Fact Finder has his finger on that pulse. It's several million but FF could confirm.

Plenty in the war-chest mate.

I see us getting to a profit before we need to raise any capital.

Imo the only way we'll see any additional capital raises occurring will be from a strategic point of view rather than a cash flow requirement. The purpose of such a raise would be to strengthen the balance sheet to prevent a hostile takeover from occurring.
