Learning to the Top 🕵‍♂️
exactly what i think. Megchips is seriously megasmart. The market will realise the importance of this strategic partnership at somepoint! I so want BRN to merge with them!
I said this before;

Megachips + Brainchip = 'MegaBrain'
🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠

'MegaBrain will conquer the world!'

Banks are down, BRN is up. the cardigan theory is debunked.
Next theory please!!
Debunked Confirm😆😆😆

It's great to be a shareholder 🏖

Purpose of research
We are promoting edge AI business as a new business to realize a sustainable society. “SNN (Spiking) for high-rate 3D sensors
We have started research with the Nara Institute of Science and Technology on initiatives related to "robot high-speed control using neural networks."

Background of the launch of the project
The edge AI we are working on aims to be an AI branded sensor that directly connects AI processing to the sensor.
It processes the data into the information required by the system and passes it to the controller. This reduces overall system traffic, resulting in
As a result, it is possible to improve the speed and latency of the entire system. Use of robot arms and automated guided vehicles, especially in the industrial/FA field
A fast and low-latency system is desired in the case. In the industrial/FA field, we are developing robot action planning and high-speed control design using AI.
We will start research and aim to contribute to the safety and work efficiency improvement of robot systems.

commitment to research
Aiming to establish technology for high-speed robot control (reflexive movement), and giving technical feedback to our products, giving our business superiority
We aim to improve.
・Application of AI HW capable of low power consumption and high-speed processing by SNN to robots
・Investigation of quantization algorithm for model reduction and its application to reinforcement learning

Thanks for sharing, I didn't want to open the pdf using the work computer and my phone wouldnt let me copy words from pdf ~_~.

I was hoping to sus out what they've already used Brainchip for (given the additional 2Mil licensing fee haha) but it does seem exciting!!! Robot arms... only thing I can think about is Elon's Tesla Bot lol one can only dreammmm

Anyone know , How does Megachips licence from Quadric fit with Akida ?
~Only Quadric’s GPNPU architecture can deliver high ML inference performance and run complex C++ code on the same fully programmable processor without forcing the developer to artificially partition code between two or three different kinds of processors.~

I'm clutching at straws, but in May this year Quadric appointed former ARM vice president Steve Roddy as their Chief Marketing Officer........bit of a Rob Telson connection perhaps?

If your not happy then consider options better suited to your situation.

Im personally happy with BRN and what is have achieved in the last 12 months and in this current world situation.

Are you overextended in BRN?

Reposting an article for reflection post June this year

Swelling losses haven't held back gains for BrainChip Holdings (ASX:BRN) shareholders since they're up 931% over 3 years

I seriously can’t believe that people that have invested in BRN think that everything is going to happen in a matter of months from the start of commercialisation to world domination. Clearly none of these people have ever been involved in business of any sort, and if they really thought about what BRN are doing how hard would it be to start / create a new global market it’s hard enough setting up a shop or a restaurant or a printing office in two years and BRN have only been on the road for less than 12 months.
We just need to tell these people to wake up and stop DREAMING
But on a personal note I can’t wait for it to take off 🚀

I think a great deal can be learned about the reality of what is starting to develop at the Edge.

For a very long time Brainchip seemed to be a lone voice in an echo chamber but in the following extracted paragraphs it is clear that real industry traction is finally taking place at the Edge.

I posted many times that AKIDA is at the far Edge waiting for everyone else to arrive and realise that where they are pulling up is the carpark close to the road and to reach the Edge occupied by AKIDA they have a three to five year walk on rations.

“According to Werner Vogels, CTO of AWS, this shift of cloud computing toward edge computing is coming about by “the need to solve the problem of the speed of light.”

Why? Because the edge, more specifically edge devices, is where the data is being generated AND consumed, whether it is video, telemetry, photos, or documents. And if Qualcomm can help it, most processing will be done on device whether the application workload is AI inference for anomaly detection or a video game.

We can expect the convergence of edge cloud and mobile computing to be the spawning ground for applications and innovations that were not possible before. As the hyperscalers push to extend the cloud out to the “edge,” Qualcomm is uniquely positioned to meet them by wirelessly connecting the vast and rapidly growing universe of intelligent endpoint devices to the emerging edge cloud thus changing the way we design distributed applications and computing systems.

The Connected Intelligent Edge will work out great for Qualcomm if it is able to execute on its Snapdragon strategy because the edge is a diverse frontier beyond the smartphone. That is exactly where Qualcomm boldly intends to go.”

Whether Qualcomm is onboard the Brainchip Bus I know not but among all those names whose reveal we covet will be one or Moore who realise three to five years cannot be caught up over night and that there is only one straight line between two points.

My opinion only DYOR

I'm wondering how those that have been invested since 2011 are reading your post.
If you take emotions out of it, the post is realistic. Brainchip really has only just begun it's commercialisation and we have a LONG way to go. But we all hold shares because we believe it will get there. Some poeple frequently jump the gun with unrealistic expectations. The amount of time someone has held a stock for is really irrelevant and it does irk me when people try to make it seem like their view is more important, because they knew about / invested in the company earlier than others. It really has no bearing on the matter.

Hi @Dang Son
Some time back @Diogenese climbed out from his barrel and ascended to the podium and read from the ancient Engineering tablets .
Much of what he spoke was unintelligible to myself and the assembled being in the language of ancient Engineer.

What I did takeaway was that Quadric and Brainchip are not competitors as far as MegaChips is concerned and they will look to deploy Quadric solutions where power use and connectivity are yet to be a customer issue. Think here Supermarket intelligent self serve scanners.

Brainchip will be offered by MegaChip as the solution when power and connectivity are real issues think robotics, automotive and as of today wifi communications systems.

My opinion only so DYOR

Hi,
haven't read the forum for quite a while so i hope this article is new to you. I think its worth a read.

https://www.eetimes.eu/cars-that-think-like-you/

My main reads from the article:

1. Synsense and BMW will start to implement neuromorphic stuff in the next coming months. (So BRN shouldnt be far behind with Mercedes maybe?)

BMW will explore neuromorphic technology for car applications, including driver-attention and passenger-behavior monitoring with the Speck module, and the partners will “explore additional applications both inside and outside the vehicle in coming months,” Muir said.

2. And Jerome Nadel mentions that BRN have a potential of all the sensors in the car. In a 2022 car it is 70! I think this is a great number.

Just read it by yourself. Mixed feelings but the weekend is ahead so stay positive.

Potential for Akida in the Amazon Halo Rise?

Some pertinent sentences:

Powered by custom machine learning algorithms and a suite of built-in sensors’.

‘Presence detection: Halo Rise activates its sleep detection only when someone is in range of the sensor. Otherwise, the device remains in a monitoring mode, where no data is transmitted to the cloud’.

Only if the confidence score crosses a reliability threshold does Halo Rise begin streaming sensor data to the cloud, where it is processed by the primary-user-tracking algorithm’.

When I hear of robot arms I can‘t stop thinking of the use Howard (Big Bang Theory) tried to put one to. A little self love. Walking into the emergency department, still attached, was very funny.

What a qualitiy journalism.

The author, Sally Ward-Foxton, appears very passionate about this particular area of technology, and has written quite a few great pieces over the past 12 months about neuromorphic AI. Many of which have been shared by Brainchip themselves via twitter.
