BRN Broker Data

Thought i might just move my recent broker data post from hotcrapper to here.

So, I just want to say to those shorters, good luck fighting against the an army of BRN hungry institutional investors.

Below is merely a screenshot for the period starting from 04/1/2022 to 01/2/2022. JP morgan was the top net buyer and alone net bought 19m shares in just one month at this high price

image-7.png

Macquarie Insto being the 2nd largest net bought 13.5m shares at average price of 1.641. What is even more crazier is that JPmorgan alone net bought 10.7m brn shares on the 19th Jan. at an average price of 2.164. To me, they look very desperate.

So, shorters, have fun playing with these beasts.

By the way, I only put up one month of broker report here. I assure everyone the data from march 2021 looks even more crazier.

Good luck to all the believers.

The Nasdaq falling 10% over the past month really scared off a lot of people from growth stocks and yet our shareprice still doubled!
FOMO sure to continue.

Hi Stan
Is Commsec a major Short Seller?
Are they lending our share to the Shorters?
If so how could it be legal for a broker to act in conflict to holders interest?

Commsec screwed me over a while ago delaying my orders by over 20mins! even when on the phone they would make excuses, cost me a bundle of money so after that i knew they were o the take with brokers so i moved all. my trading over to another platform and what do u know they sent me an enormous xmas gift, screw u commsec, i donated the gift as didn't want their dirty money.

Hi Stan
Great to have you here with your data.
By the way the fantastic thing about here is if as you do you get an email from Tony Dawe etc; and you want to share it here you don’t have to ask your mother if you are allowed.

Have a great week.

UBS are known shorters of stocks. A few industry funds use UBS so people with direct share options should be aware that shares you buy through your direct share option in your industry super that uses UBS has probably had their shares shorted.

Hostplus and Australian Super are two that I know of.

I use QSuper. They stopped lending shares for shorting awhile ago.

Hi Stan. Glad to see you made it over here with us. And a big thank you for the Data.
Yes instos are taking bigger positions and also bigger trading volumes. I noticed Morrisons did a huge 131 Mil in vol keeping 4.3 mil. Unusual for them to trade this much. Some of my accounts are with them so I know my shares are taken for Shorting by them and I suspect a lot of the shorting could be via them.
Anyway please do keep supplying trade data as it an invaluable tool to have.

Hi, Yak52
it is great to reunite with you guys in this much cleaner and efficient forum. Been tracking broker data for multiple asx stocks for about 2 years and I just don't see any other stock has as promising broker data as brainchip.

Being through all the ups and downs. the instos just kept on trading more and accumulating more on BRN, which I could totally understand, because Brainchip is the first and so far the only company in the world successfully commercialised neuromorphic computing chip. So one sentence sums up it all that is: As if they have a choice

respectfully stocks like zip are destined to be traded instead of invested for long term. I have always been critical to this BNPL industry and specially to the companies that were trying to follow APT's path. however this is my opinion only. Instos have various different strategies in making money. Jp morgan has been much more investor to BRN in my view, here is the broker data from march 2021 to 03/02/2022, if you pay attention to it buy and sell volume and the net bought $, you can come up with your own judgement about whether they are investing in brn for longer term. same to the other instos like UBS, instinenomura, macquarie instos, citigroup, morrison and etc

hi, FF:
HC has been more and more difficult to engage into more productive and informative discussion. and finally someone took the initiate to create this troll free forum. Totally agreed with what your said on your other post. We always love alternative views and genuine discussion and debate with certain degree of facts or logic as back up. And I hope this how is new forum will grow into.

i don't think so. I don't really think retail investor will be major short seller to brn. it is just broker for the retail investors. my understanding from this read is that many retail investor has took their profit all the way from 70c to 2.30. and in fact, many of my friends has been selling their part of entire holding of Brainchip before the SP even reached $1.20. Even myself have sold my short term portion at average of $1.39. I have not sold one single share away from my long term portion though, which was 83% of my entire brn holdings.
