If it keeps going up at that rate we will be No 1 of the top 100 shorted list!!
Seems like its only a matter of time now.

Any thoughts on this one?……….is this another way the Big Shorters manipulate the market by manufacturing the swings in the charts…..considering everyone follows Shortman???

I noticed that earlier and wonder now that given TW has his conversion rate set for the oppies we may see some relief on the short front.

No way they have closed 26 million positions, volume hasn’t even been that high.

This is a failure to report which is designed to mislead the market and is a disgrace. Will be back up again on Tuesday probably.

Why haven't they knocked it back down then?

Yesterday there was only 68,843 reported short on a day where they could have easily murdered the SP.

Take the one big 500k sell @53 out of the queue and we have a very different looking Bid Ask spread than from the last few weeks.

Somethings changed.

Looks like the most likely explanation, but it looks good though

My guess is that they borrowed a huge amount of shares and didn't sell all of them. They have now returned some which were never sold which is why there was no effect on the SP.
The 13/5 has very high volume for very little movement. Maybe there was a big cross trade - cant remember. But it stands out as odd.
I agree with Westy though - it seems like something has changed. Maybe they've just gotten bored and feel like there are better targets out there now for their games.
At the moment my guess is its not a reporting error for once. Will see next week!
Have a good weekend all!

A $2.5M ‘@market’ buy order would rocket the share price to over $1.40 based on the sell side of 3.3m shares……do you think that would upset the shorters?
Just let us know when you plan to wipe a few lines reg.;)

I don’t think I would tell anyone Westy…….I would like it to be a surprise!!!
I saw something similar happen with AGY back in 2018 when there was hardly any shares for sale after a good announcement and buyers stepped up. Was on BIT when it went wild as well.
Panic selling into a massive pump is a wild ride, especially when you only have a phone with dodgy internet on a footpath in Singapore and misses is bugging you!

Almost no resistance to the shorts selling. Although I'd say they have now got some help from others that want out.

Will be interesting to see how low it goes.

I'm guessing there will be tax related selling too this month.

I’m just going to buy more so the shorters dont get them from the weak hands.
I've been loading up on some Lithium stocks going cheap the past couple of days but will grab more BET if it gets down in the 30's next week.
People are getting spooked and booking up losses whilst others are taking profits least they lose.
I can be patient with my current holdings.
