Also some other key points from the latest qtrly- Mediality appointed BetMakers (via the Global Racing Network) as its exclusive distributor of Australian racing data to territories outside of Australia for an initial term of 3 years; Those who don't know Mediality- https://medialityracing.com.au/ Outside of Australia- they operate in Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand. Also I think it was on AusBiz where Todd was talking about other jurisdictions opening up in Sth America and Africa? i.e. expanding into fixed odds. I think we are getting a lot of enquiries we are only going to get bigger!

Hi all. I am interested in peoples thought in the involvement of IXUP limited. Possibly a future Betmakers acquisition ???.

I am happy to disclose my holdings being above 400,000 shares in Bet.

I had not really looked at Barstool in any great detail, other than I read that Penn bought 36% and they had a license with Freehold Raceway.

I am just guessing that BET will target the biggest sportsbooks with the most customers and casino licenses…..and not just in NJ

PBH could be one of the 5 being an long standing partner of BET
agreed, I would think PBH get a free hit- from the previous announcement-"PointsBet USA, Inc. has signed an agreement with BetMakers Technology Group Limited (ASX:BET) (“BetMakers”) to offer Fixed Odds betting on horseracing in New Jersey, subject to receipt of all necessary regulatory and other approvals (the “Agreement”)" I wonder if it is another 5 ontop of this deal or 5 including this deal?

Hey Hume, bought a new sink yet?

IXU is working with GeoComply now so we will see how that develops. The onus on online operators to be able to identify the location of a punter placing a bet is highly regulated and compliance is a must in each State (they all want their taxes!).

Don’t think BET will acquire them but who knows…..it would take another piece away from any competitor.
Here is a youtube video about GeoComply (also done in podcast form) that maybe of interest- I have not listened to it yet but on the to do list. Not a bad podcast series if you have an interest in US gambling. Last year I was stalking Matt Davey on linked-in and he commented on Lindsay Slader post "that we must catch-up" and thought something must be happening. My guess it maybe a long shot is Davey still has his SPAC in the US and maybe one day- he may bring IXUP, Betmakers plus other players all under the one umbrella to be listed on the US but this would be a while away once fixed odds in the US has got some traction and BET has some decent size to it i.e. $3 +Billion market cap. Anyway interested to see if anyone has any other theories.

SHhhhhhh!….don’t tell everyone. I was hoping sneak it in before they decide to suspend me.

hundreds of BRN posters on HC have been suspended permanently for linking to TSE.
I think they are on to you Reginald

Hey Reg
I saved some money to buy a news sink, but I spent it on the latest dip.

Morningstar's fair value estimate has gone up the past few days.

Fair Value Estimate
1.669
is trading below its Morningstar Fair Value Estimate.

That equates to $1.508B MC - $112M cash = $1.396B / $59.7M trailing twelve month revenue = x23.4 TTM multiple.

I will be using trailing twelve month revenue when calculating fair value as it is more accurate than using revenue run rate based on previous quarter revenue x 4.

The buyers:sellers ratio has improved significantly. 274 buyers after 3.277M shares & only 79 sellers offloading 1.13M.

Back to the good times for BET.

Commsec very generous. Nabtrade showing the $1.669 figure.

$2.38 SP = $2.15B MC - $112M cash = $2.038B / $59.7M TTM = x34.1 TTM revenue multiple.

What is the likelihood of BET growing to circa $4B MC & then merging 1:1 with TAB?

TAB just seems like a massive distraction when all the focus should be on the US business as that will hopefully be huge. IMHO.

I just realised the $2.38 you mentioned is for BRN not BET.

During the last Betmakers AGM, I recall management emphasising a couple of times that they are a B2B provider to racing industry. So I took that message as Betmakers was trying to allay concerns that the market may have had about Betmakers turning back into a bookie from the original Tab takeover offer.

I think management may have received the message that the market was not ok with there Tab takeover offer, and want to see Betmakers just do B2B stuff. So I assume now that Betmakers will just focus on the B2B and other racing tech opportunities.

Unless one day in the future there was a joint bid whereby another operator took the wagering operations and Betmakers just cherry picked any wagering tech or media assets.
