GO AVZ!!!!
I'm also in the yes camp, but I'm just some arsehole on the internet with no real clue what's going on.

On a totally unrelated subject let's say some arsehole on the internet wanted to buy 8M shares in a delisted company from some other arsehole on the internet. What do you all think the legal fees could be?
Nothing

You can get a standard transfer form from the share registry (no issue transferring/buying/selling unlisted companies)

Fill it out (buyer and seller) sign it pay the money between the parties lodge the form the share registry will confirm the transaction when processed and both parties will get their new holding statements reflecting the transaction

There may be some minor fees from the registry to process the transfer

Done it a few times

Might need a little bit of legal shit on the side re money transfers and etc etc etc incase theres any fucked up shit with the share registry not being able to process the transaction but that probably depends on how much money you're talking about and how well you know/trust the transacting parties

You may need your SRN as the seller (as it's an Issuer Sponsored Share) and it can be handy if the buyer has one too but it is not required (won't have one if they've never owned AVZ shares anyway)

The form is only about two pages

I'll try and post one up

This is a link to automic https://www.automicgroup.com.au/investor-services/trading-off-market-transfers

Let's just refer to these two arseholes as Mr S and Mr X.

Mr X has 8M shares that Mr S would like to buy for a 50% premium on a recent offer.

Your bets are on for a yes, i think it closed at 75 cents, would people take that tomorrow, do you really think where getting 1.50 upwards a share
Add both those values together and it's still less than what was stolen from us. Double it and I reckon our final damages claim may be around that value.

Personally I'm not particularly interested in anything that doesn't compensate every last legitimate shareholder for what we've been put through by these bastards. However I will pay attention to the board's recommendations when the time comes.

Shhh.

Mr S doesn't want to be outbid and can't afford to go higher right now.

Going by @Winenut and my calculations you’re $120,000.00 investment should give you a return of $96million
