Friday Funny. An oldie but a goodie...

Good old Steve-o was a nice enough looking bloke, good personality, smooth with the ladies, the kind of lad you'd love to go grab brekkie with the next morning. But he had one flaw-- he was missing an eye and he had it replaced with a timber one. It was a nice enough replacement, but he still looked a bit off because of it, and it hurt his style.

One night, Steve-o is out drinking, and he sees a gorgeous woman, but her mouth is on sideways. He thinks to himself, "this is perfect! She's just like me, beautiful except for this one flaw!"

He buys her a VB (like a true gentleman) and starts talking with her. They hit it off, and things go great. As the night starts winding down, he asks, "would you like to come back to my flat?"

She says, "oh, would I!"

He replies, "don't call me Wood Eye, Cunt Face!"

That fat kleptocrat wouldn't recognise the right thing if it crawled up his size XXXL boxers and bit him on his his nut sack. Unrestrained corruption and pleonexia are all that he knows.

Only when European authorities strip the family accounts of stolen billions will they look up from their Salon Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil served in 18th century Bohemian crystal glassware and say "Will the Chinese give us more money daddy"?

Hopefully, this is the start of holding Felix Tshisekedi and his family of inbred mouth-breathers accountable for systematically looting the DRC's treasury over a decade, and in the process condemning generations of Congolese to relentless and grinding poverty.

Yeh of course it doesn't need it, but it sure increases an assets value when the country isn't at risk of falling apart. Sovereign risk is why we are in this shit in the first place and no peace makes the risk worse, and thus the value less.

It matters when Felix blocks our mining license until he gets what he wants.

Felix cares about two things:

1 - Enriching himself and his family
2 - Maintaining his power


Felix sees projects like Manono as things he and his family are entitled to benefit from. Zijin obtained the North through huge bribes and corrupt payments. Therefore Felix benefitted massively as he is pulling the strings. $70 million and other amounts from Zijin appeared to simply vanish into thin air. A recent article referenced 400 million Euros being transferred through Felix's Family's Belgian bank accounts in a relatively short time frame. Although it is difficult to trace and prove, you can bet that at least a portion of Zijin's payments went to Felix and his family. So this satisfies number 1 above.

Felix wants the USA to get M23 out of the DRC. He appears to be using Manono Roche dure and potentially numerous other projects as an incentive for USA to act. Removing M23 would support point number 2 above. I think that Felix wants USA to take hard action against M23/Rwanda. However, USA seems to be taking a more diplomatic approach.

Felix seems to keep agreeing to things and then not sticking to his word. Part of the issue in my opinion is that Felix is a cheating, entitled, greedy, dishonest pig. He only wants to take, take, take. They agree a framework where FDLR will be disbanded and M23 retreat, then Felix doesn't hold up his end of the bargain. See above, where he is a cheating, entitled, greedy, dishonest pig. Kagame could be partly to blame here as well, with neither party wanting to act, as we know he denies supporting M23 and only wants to refer to Rwanda's "defensive measures". However, from what we know of Felix and dealing with him, I think it is highly likely that Felix is more to blame than the other side.

Felix does not care about AVZ investors, he doesn't care about leaving his own people to starve, he cares ONLY about himself. AVZ getting a license and running a legit operation does not benefit Felix. So we keep getting blocked for years and years.

In my opinion, for things to get unblocked while Felix is in power, either someone has to make big payments to Felix or someone has to satisfy Felix with doing enough with reference to allowing him to maintain his power by getting M23/Rwanda to back down. If the USA supported peace process is enough to satisfy Felix that he is getting enough out of the deal, then he may unlock the project and others to the USA.

August is going hard on X this morning on behalf of KB, some may say a little too hard. I wonder why? He tagged AVZ in yesterday, came looking to engage with AVZ SHs IMV, keeps mentioning the ASIC bollocks, the guy stinks if you ask me. It seems KB shared the DRC strategy of attempting to bleed AVZ dry of $ hence all the fuckery. Well done to everyone giving it back to him.
