AVZ Discussion 2022

The MOM lost his paperwork in the crash and following fire, he needs 3 months to retrieve them.

Maybe team Felix stole them in the confusion after the accident.
You could be onto something there. A lot of evidence can go missing in an "accident".

GO AVZ!!!!
I have to say that for a long time I thought you both flip flopped on your comments and I couldn’t understand why you wouldn’t just stick to supporting Nigel and the BOD. It’s a shame toilet isn’t here anymore because he would have loved to agree with you both and join in.

Anyway, I have to admit I agree with you both now. Obviously this decision by Nigel and the BOD was done on a whim with no rationale, thought process or confidential agreements in place.

In fact we can only assume that this latest debacle is the result of some very bad advice by DLA Piper.

It’s an absolute outrage, complete madness and I think we should all send our concerns to Messrs Carrick and Cong as well as to ASIC because I’m sure they are the answer to our prayers. Those of us truly God fearing shareholders that pray that is

Now where’s my flip flops?

The whingers now have AVZ’s announcement on why the ICSID case has been suspended…. Now watch them keep whinging, and of course defending their whinging

All shareholders are in the same boat, some keep up supporting Nigel and the BOD (and the majority of shareholders) while others just keep on thinking about themselves, whinging and whining and doing their best to bringing everyone else down

Thanks to you and the others who support the BOD, Nigel and my post above @Winenut
If we were ever in a war, I know who I would like to have on my side and who I wouldn’t

Nothing else to do but support Nigel and the BoD. My decision to invest in lithium and the fucking DRC.

We've been caught in a a shady war of East vs west. 3rd world corruption.

Surely surely this latest announcement alludes to a conclusion of the sale of Manono before March 2026.??

I still dont understand why they have to suspend the court case? Surely they could still keep it going incase negotiations fall through like they did in July. Same things happening again.

Because they can't afford to keep paying for the court case?

at least 2 options I guess.

> Pressure internal - liquidity

> Pressure external - potential buyer request to do so before any further step ...

Well if it's option 1 we r in big trouble

If its Option 2 then I hope we r not being played coz we r bending over getting ready to cop it in ass.

Hopefully it's option 3 - deals already done pending sign off of peace deal

The announcement does mention funding, but those "in the know" are saying it is not to fund the litigation. There is likely a few more twists and turns to come yet.

As much as I want our day in court and a final award for damages, it could be problematic for selling our interests to the Americans. I'm not an expert on the subject but I do know that it's illegal for American businesses and citizens to do business with foreign entities that have been sanctioned.

Hopefully I have the correct terminology here, as stated I am not an expert.

Our case involves substantial corruption by several congolese actors. Those we sell our interests to will need to do business with these individuals. I speculate this may not be possible or will at least be more difficult if we follow through to a final hearing and an award.

Our legal team will have advised the best path forward. This step may be a way to keep the floor open to the Americans, increasing both the number of bidders and the value of (by reducing complications associated with) what we are offering to sell.
