Today's winner on the crapper. True on so many levels

Courtesy of Scarpa:

Go play some gulf, get some fresh air, take the wife out for lunch, enjoy life. Or even apply for a visa to China and go walk the Great Wall of China, see the Terracotta Army statues or even visit Tiananmen Square and say hello to the people there.

If the above ain't your thing, maybe go off and refresh or gain that degree/diploma finance and business management that you aspire too so you can give direction to CEOs etc as a good Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary should do.

Do as you please.

What will be will be - everyone knows whoever gets control of Manono will control the lithium price for decades. And get a competitive edge - like China has in rare earths.

Don't post much on hotcrapper anymore as the place is starting to become full of drivel.

All the best

Draft DRC-Rwanda peace agreement: Washington expects concrete progress in June --> Today, a second working document, a revised version, is being circulated between the parties. This text should serve as a basis for future discussions. According to our information, Congolese and Rwandan technical delegations are expected in Washington next week. The objective: to defend their respective positions before considering a formal meeting between the foreign ministers.
That was on the 6th June. So they should be in Washington this week

Seems like it's going to be difficult for DRC and Rwanda to make a peace deal in the next couple weeks..... AVZ-Kobold deal probably going to be delayed

Definitely potential for delays. However it could be worse. At least they are still saying they are committed to US Gov initiated mediation process.

If it's delayed, no reason for AVZ to continue ICSID suspension. Full steam ahead with ICSID to give us a fair value. Rather than continue with Kobold potentially low balling us.

I can’t even view the most recent page anymore. If any regulars have moved onto another forum can you DM me? Or is it back to the crapper?
Yeah I'd also love to know! This is BS!!

Would need some token gesture or commitment from DRC to not delay ICSID again sure. Maybe endorsement of sale to Kobold or acceptance of framework/binding agreement for ML on sale or something.

It would also be unbelievable if two African countries were to strike a deal so quickly after being enemies for so long. Everyone is only thinking of themselves. These structures and old ways of thinking ensure that the countries are in the position they are in.
There is a comedian who talks about doing business with Chinese Mafia/Triad. They comment on how cool and culture setting Africans are (especially African Americans), then comment about how easily they are divided. Its a very interesting take.

Yeah it was a bit of a spray and pray on the explorers for a while there.

There were a couple weeks straight where everything was going up 10% a day and I just couldn't stay out... can't wait for that cycle to start up again as we approach the end of the decade, let the instos position, then hype it up for retail as usual.

All the more reason to go ahead with ICSID without further delay. Peace deal out of AVZ control, getting favourable ruling (which most of agree it will be ) is in our control and useful.

Well I think it's in our best interest to have the most favourable setting for investment in DRC which would maximise the value of a mining project in DRC.

It's in our best interest to hope a peace agreement can occur that provides a very good investment climate for DRC.

Pressuring DRC with ICSID to maybe agree on a sub-par deal with Rwanda would not maximise the investment climate in DRC.

Ultimately we should be pro DRC in the DRC-Rwanda negations as it's in our financial interest
