Well , we all have our opinions on Trump, but i guess what we all can agree on, is he certainly gets deals done quickly, rightly or wrongly.

US have signed a critical mineral pact with Ukraine, its a done deal, happened so quick, amazing really, so it gives me confidence that a US / DRC mineral deal will also be a quick affair too, which hopefully means a deal with AVZ Manono isnt too far away either.....

I believe the mineral deal and peace agreement will be signed simultaneously, so yes, still a few months to go unfortunately.

DRC mining: President Félix Tshisekedi expected in Washington to finalize partnership with Trump administration​

The Head of State Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo is expected to be in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, for the confirmation and finalisation of the RDC-USA partnership, after its validation by the Oval Office.

This is indicated in a statement issued by the US Department of State for African Affairs on Tuesday, April 29, which evokes a turning point in what it describes as an “agreement of the century.”

The partnership provides for the exploitation of mineral resources in the Democratic Republic of Congo in return for securing the east of the country, as well as a massive investment in infrastructure, estimated at nearly USD 500 billion over a 15-year period.
