For my 2c,

I always see the amount of shitfuckery as somewhat proportionate reaction to how actual discussions are progressing.
The more things gradually move in our favour, the harder the snakes have to work to try and make it look like it's going in the other direction.

So while the fact we are always left out from actual details makes the current portal updates concerning, I see all this (Mpinga, MMGA, Cami portal) as a visible negative reaction that what is hopefully invisible positive progress.

Lets remember that while we haven't moved very far in 18 months:
- Neither have zijin, despite their best efforts they have rescinded (sort of) their 15% claim and things not looking good for them at arbitration
- Cominiere management got booted. Yes new management not much better but still getting rid of JFM is a big roadblock removed.
- AVZ 'case' now being handled by Department (ministry?) of Justice rather than Ministry of Mines
- We have confirmation that NF has ACTUALLY met with FT. Not just vague references to 'discussions with high-level government'
- We have had confirmation of embassy support and involvement
- We have had recent confirmation of an MoU, an actual tangible step forwards
- On top of the lithium we will have extra revenue from 'The tale of AVZ' when it gets released in cinema

And this is just from the bits we actually get to see. Most of our progress is confidential.
Despite their best efforts, the snakes may have stalled things but they have not made any progress in stealing anything. It looked like maybe they did when the tenement was split, but even that's been undone now.

I think we are getting close to a conclusion with all this, and I'm optimistic.
Remember - DRC gains NOTHING from letting zijin steal the project. The best outcome for DRC is still for AVZ/CATH to become the shining beacon for a new era of win-win* development in Manono, and that show's DRC can be a good destination for international investment.

(*the 'win-win' where both parties get a win. Not the Chinese version where they take 2-wins and the other party nothing)

I‘d differently characterise the statement about the DRC getting nothing if #FuckZijin steal the project. It has never been about what the DRC gets out of it. It has always been what those with statutory decision-making authority can get out of it for themselves. Cunts like #FuckZijin with no morals perpetuate the status quo through their illegal and immoral dealings. Benefit to the DRC is a distant consideration, sadly.

My original intel was a split for 152... never shared (publicly) because it wasn't substantiated and a whole lot of plot holes in the content.

With the update to CAMI, not sure who the fuck Manono Lithium are, but trying to find out. It would make sense if it is ZJ + Cominiere under a 60/40 split. I recall in July they set up some shady fucking company, will double check to see if i have the registry stuff on the company.

Again don't board the hysteria train, most of this is operated under Cominiere's dumbass presumption that 13359 has been returned in full to them because of 'unharmonious relations' stated in 000031. This is not a fucking reason to terminate PR and the base arguement for ICSID. Every lawyer friend i've spoken to believes ICSID case is fucking game over red rover for DRC because, its a fucking weak ass argument and its not part of the DRC mining code (not that law and order mean jack shit in the DRC).

When parties engage in business with different core understandings and presumptions of ownership, but one has snacks and brown paper bags to throw around, they're going to do what corrupt fucks do. AVZ holding its positions at ICC and ICSID to push for a clean slate and clarity on the matter from a third party or at least a neutral party is imperative.

MMGA's fucking statements about ICC and these litigations being useless is fucking looney toons material and not the good kind, Space Jam 3 type of dog shit.

I'm starting to get a feeling of what their play might be.

We get offered some bullshit deal, which has all been orchestrated with MMGA.
MMGA make a statement claiming to either vote for them to get in and accept this shit deal, or go with Nigel and ICSID and wait years.
It's going to be made out that we don't have a choice, and in this circumstance I can imagine shareholders may conceed to the bullshit deal.

Indeed no one wants to wait years but as you say 9card, and I believe too, the DRC can not and will not let this go to ICSID, it will just be a bluff.
Question is will shareholders hold their ground?

Just speculation, because it appears like that's what's being set up for us at this moment.

Which of the 'various remedies' that AVZ are seeking at the ICSID do your lawyer friends think is most likely to be the outcome?

The problem we have is the MoM and MoP clearly hate us and they are the two most important figures for the government in the DRC mining sector apart from Felix. We will absolutely crush the DRC government at the ICSID if we need to go the distance I have no doubt but it will take a long time if a settlement isn't reached. Hopefully the MoU is cooking up something good but it seems like a smokescreen to me as the MoM easily could have overruled the decision about the Dathcom JVA being terminated and given Dathcom the tenement back with the ML if she wasn't feeling so snackish imo

Who was the person who knows to look for more data on the cami portal? This guy did it in the past and saw dathcom stated in the background of data. Would be nice if that guy can check out again the data on the portal.

One thing is curious, how can it be that mmga was the first who published the MoM order on x?
Since the order something happened fast in the background. In 7 days it’s separated and one part is sold to manono lithium jv. In the case it’s all sold what is the task of mmga? Stop the icc and icsid cases that they can steal without future consequences for them or the drc? That the drc court decisions are the only ones and the jv is terminated after drc law?

Jag is right in that we need to swarm these lying cheating defrauding scum-fuck criminals who are trying to steal our company AVZ, our investment, our wealth and livelihoods.

Like a raging swarm of fucking killer bees we should be all over the socials protecting our hive (AVZ) from the attacks of those cunts trying to steal our honey after all us bees have put in the diligence and hard work, time, patience and money to see if come to fruition.

Shareholder power is what these bastards should be feeling from MMGA to Cominiere to every single thief that is trying to steal this great and now proven up (DFS included) project from us.

Just my take on that interview.....

a) MMGA movement is not hostile, but believe they have a different skill set to difuse the " lack of harmony "...

b) They sent a open letter to AVZ BOD to offer assistance,............they got the cold shoulder...

c) Essentially, DRC govt cant be a part of the JV.......due to disharmony of relations...

d) Regards to ML decree, apparently the understanding was AVZ was to exploit the southern part of Manono , but cede parts of the north ( exploration ) ....

e) Puts the boot in regards to non disclosure !!.......has a point there ,

f) Suggests AVZ BOD could of offered a sweetner to Dathomir for them to go away......

g) AVZ are courageous to take DRC govt to court, but not wise, limited funds , cant last the duration.

h) Sympathises with the DRC govt, AVZ should of negotiated terms of ML decree ( ), so development of Manono could proceed, DRC govt missing out due to the disharmony of JV , thus delay in reaping royalties, taxes....

i ) States that MMGA has had no contact with Dathomir / Cominiere............but has a plan ...


My take, much like @wombat74 view, AVZ should just take it up the arse and submit to the corruptors and appease the DRC govt whos focus is on re election, not with Manono.

Yeah I agree wholeheartedly with that in principle but I would add on a few rules of engagement.

1. It's fine to be posting to KongPress and what other feeds related AVZ / DRC / Comminiere news but I don't reckon it makes too much difference because the Key players (DRC Gov) are quarantined from it and are unlikely to bother clicking on the translate button even if they do come across it. One way to make sure Francophones read it is to translate it first then post. That's why I always try to create content in English and French whenever I can. A few other posters on here have cottoned onto this and do the same.

2. Related to the above, as I said there is a kind of homophily happening with who reacts (eg Kiki or Franck or whoever) and then a flurry of posters from here piling on to whatever post. Again I question whether MoM or The President or other key DRC stakeholders ever see or bother to read that stuff. So what I started doing a while back is to post directly to their feeds. The President has a few. Doing the other stuff is still probably worth it from a bad publicity perspective but I think the actually accounts of top brass is where the nerve is.

When I did this, I got told via proxy to AVZ management that I had to stop immediately because it was pissing the president off. Obviously this was on the back of everyone else posting as well so hard to pinpoint the straw that the broke the camel but at least that was a pretty serious pushback. So I have started posting directly onto the DRC pollies twitter feeds again and I think everyone should do the same. Just flood it.

3. And this is an important one. If you're gonna be on twitter and try and make a point. Try not to use foul language and abuse and act like a complete, pissed out of your head redneck. It drags down the tone and reflects badly on the group of shareholders who are trying to help the current BoD get this over the line. And dont get me wrong. I know as well as anyone in here how easy it is to get worked up and livid about certain things that are popping up but trust me, it's far better to use wit, intelligence and cleverly crafted ideas to attack these detractors as the alternative may leave a bad taste with Shareholders who come across these posts but know little of what's going on and are swinging voters.

4. In terms of MMGA, I don't even bother replying to their posts now because they only get a few likes and the only comments that appear are from people here attacking them.

Wouldn't it be better to just let the posts die prematurely? A fire needs wood to burn. Don't feed it and it goes out pretty quickly. If you all pile in and bump up the conversation it keeps going to the trending feed and keeps it alive. Just don't. Simples.
