With respect, he wasnt blindsided or totally naive, though the actions of the MoP have been startling. He has been batting them back since 2020. This is a listed ASX company that needs to follow rules of Australian public companies, Australian Law, and doing what is lawful under ASIC. That is what the BoD have been doing. To have done otherwise and acted illegally would result in a total loss once ASIC has had its way if that had happened. The timing of Covid and Lockdowns was extremely unfortunate for AVZ and gave Cong, Cominiere and Zijin the opportunity to pass around the brown bags of influence whilst Nige and Co were restricted in their ability to travel easily to and from DRC to represent in person. AVZ by doing the right thing legally is in a strong position...it takes time for the wheels of international justice to arrive at the correct legal destination. AVZ is arriving very soon.

I get that there is a lot of frustration with the lack of information flow....but this is a legal, political and geopolitical fight for control of a very critical mineral that's important and valuable...you dont go broadcasting your strategy and evidence so that the opposition can take it in advance and twist it and use it to their advantage in the court of social media or DRC political circles.

Now is not the time to be showing and airing weakness and despair and infighting....now is the time to be sticking together and supporting the company to prevent the scum of Jerkoff and Cong and Zijin from stealing yours, mine and OUR investment in AVZ and Manono.

Imo The DRC will not want the issues of corruption to go to court .
Too many Minister's and high public officials exposed .
The opposition party will have access to it and surely use it in its campaign to help possibly remove FT government.
Also makes it a joke that DRC is open for Western investment.

If memory serves, Christian virtue is something about being selfless and helping others less fortunate than yourself. I’ve often wondered how people reconcile their personal greed, which has real-world impacts to the less fortunate, against their so-called Christian virtues. 1. The DRC is a dangerous place, the location of the BODs is a sensitive matter and current location is never revealed.
2. There are many parties doing whatever it takes to illegally acquire either the mining rights or shares held, they are not stopping and infact pushing a little harder right now. The inter-tangled web of corruption, bribery, extortion and blackmail is ever complex and new players arriving to chip in with their effort.
3. The AVZ BOD are working around the clock to get through both the treacherous acts of third parties trying to steal the world class asset as well as do their job of getting things in place to go mining.
4. Nigel has a huge job ahead, but he also has a huge reward and is totally invested in making it work - this is more than likely his last gig. His plans are not to go down with a sinking ship.
5. Despite what's going on, some headway is being made very recently - explicitly what ? I am not privy to such matters.
6. A takeover is not on the cards AT THE PRESENT. There have been offers made numerous times worth a pittance, not even worth communicating to shareholders.
7. The BOD are keeping very quiet for a reason, the ASX is fully supporting their strategic plans at present to not give anything up to those on the outskirts trying to weasel their way in.

Along with my family, I am super heavily invested - I have everything to gain or lose with AVZ. Yes I am frustrated and super stressed about what's at stake, but I believe we as investors need to perhaps just take some chill pills and put some trust in the BOD.
It's increasingly frustrating with the radio silence, but we have to understand Manono is a huge world class asset that will not remain in the ground. Its in the best interest of the DRC to allow it to be dug out by a 3rd party as they know they don't have the skills, funds, professionalism and integrity to do it successfully.

ICSID & ICC was the best thing to happen, the ball is back in the DRCs court to make the next positive and reformed step, anything contrary will make them look like much bigger flogs than they already are.

I just started to go through the lies in the article that the three stooges trying to scam their way onto our BOD have put in the media. I’m not even a quarter of the way through it and I’ve stopped to have a break because the lies, deception and misinformation is astounding and I have hardly even started to dissect it yet.

Here’s my answer to the first 6 lies, if you want to look at the article again for reference, it’s not hard to find on the threads….

1) Shareholders are not meeting to appoint three directors. AVZ is having it’s AGM and have directors already

2) The relationship between AVZ and state mining company Cominiere was affected by

i) Cominiere not granting AVZ the first right of refusal to buy 15% of Dathcom shares as was agreed to in signed contracts and

ii) Cominiere illegally and fraudulently selling 15% of Dathcom shares to Zijin. This sale of shares to Zijin was done at $120 million below the value of the shares, the proceeds of which were also squandered and there is undeniable evidence Celestin Kibeya Kabemba took a $2 million dollar bribe in the process.

3) AVZ Minerals raised funds to develop the project which had no financial effect on Cominiere, as Cominiere were incapable of raising funds.

4) The article states that AVZ stopped work on the ground (when clearly drilling and plant construction continued into 2023).

5) The reason the PR was not transferred into a PE was because the previous DG of CAMI wouldn’t determine the surface rights fee for AVZ to pay them. The fact is that AVZ fulfilled all obligations to receive the PE and was awarded the ministerial decree to issue the PE.

6) Cominiere has put the joint venture in it’s name and claims AVZ has no ownership in the JV project, but the ICC has made it clear that Cominiere cannot do this.
