AVZ Discussion 2022

Someone posted here an email with organisers that confirmed she wasn't coming. I guess this also ties into her breaking her legs or something, but unclear as to the reason why she pulled out

As of today, website says she's coming. From memory the person who posted shared a screenshot of the presenters, I can't remember if she was on or off it. Wondering if they've updated.

Unless this mess is sorted in the next 5 days, she won't be coming. Why would she? She would need the world's supply of Kool Aid...and then some.

@9cardomaha @Carlos Danger

Has there been any publication of the COMINIERE v MMCS ICC case yet, either publicly or privately. This is crucial for a lot of dominoes..... IMO
I believe someone asked Frank on the bird and he said the court case wasn’t completed ( or something similar ) so the 5% remain with Cominiere.
Could be wrong but that’s what I took from Frank
No publication of the case as far as I'm aware but in poker terms MMCS got raised on their bluff and folded

Here's Franck Fwamba's recent tweets on the matter. Sounds like he has documentation and he usually brings receipts at some point.

Yes, I think that’s right actually. Had forgotten that post and iirc he said they didn’t want to pay fees?

Ok, so is that now reflected on RCCM register?

I think the penny just dropped for me in regards to the Zijin & Cominiere case against AVZ.
Perhaps I'm just slow and you're all like "No shit sherlock."
I think most of us assumed it's just a part of some "play", but a little worried they might have something none the less.

So to realise their reason now gives me closure on it.

It's just for appearances of course, to save face.
AVZ are saying they have acted poorly/illegaly.
They're a company and have people to answer to, so if they're to be seen as the good guys, they have to act in accordance with a company doing the right thing. If they were doing the right thing then that would mean AVZ is doing the wrong thing.
It follows that by AVZ not agreeing to their "perfectly legal" 15% aquisition in Dathcom, the bad and evil AVZ must be sued for all the damage they're causing to the good guys.
So that's what they must be seen to be doing, suing AVZ for disruption to the project, and their financial losses.
Because that's what a company doing the right thing would be doing!
*Edit: Oh and of course to apply threatening pressure to their opponent AVZ is a bonus.*

Of course they will never go ahead with the case, they just had to initiate proceeedings as a public display. Because that's what they would do IF they were in the right and were the good guys here. They've got BILLIONS to squander on these kinds of games.

But I think they're finally bowing out anyway with the headline above.
And they have to give a reason why they're bowing out other than their illegal activities being thwarted, so instead they just say it's too expensive.

Fuckers.

Having her legs broken, she probably meant, she was afraid the angry Perth mob was going to kneecap her, both.
Let's face it, the comments on social media weren't very kind to her, so she had a dream and thought not smart to come with empty hands.
Why come, if her presence would work like displaying a red flag to a bull?

I think it's more like stalling tactics in the hope AVZ would be intimidated and compromise / give in . An attempt to weaken our position/ resolve . Didn't work .

Could someone here enlighten me on the BNBT and AVZ spin that Sir Les/ Der Giest is talking about?

I think he's agitating to see what ever happened to the MoU we had with BNBT - crickets after this announcement in March 2018 as far as I can see. I don't get his angle.....but then who ever does?

Sorry, had to edit the chairman references

21 March 2018

Beijing National Battery Technology Co., Ltd to visit the Manono Lithium Project

AVZ Minerals Limited (ASX: AVZ) (“AVZ” or “Company”) is pleased to advise that it is actively progressing the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU") with Beijing National Battery Technology Co., Ltd (“BNB”) for potential investment and off-take opportunities.
As previously advised, discussions with BNB have been on-going for a number of months, and as part of BNB’s already-in-progress due diligence, the Company extended an invitation to visit the Manono Lithium Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (“DRC”). Discussions have recently been held between BNB’s Chairman and AVZ Executive Management around working together to accelerate the development and production of the Manono Lithium Project. AVZ is pleased to confirm that the Chairman of BNB and their due diligence team will be attending site at Manono in the DRC next week with AVZ Management and its strategic advisor, Airguide International Pte Limited.
Beijing National Battery Technology Co., Ltd (www.nationalpower.com.cn) is headquartered in Beijing, China, and holds the dominant market position for the supply of batteries to China's bus industry and is the 7th largest battery maker globally with a focus on rapidly expanding its production facilities.
AVZ’s Executive Chairman Klaus Fuckoff commented: “We are very excited by the pace and professionalism demonstrated by BNB as they move through their due diligence process with AVZ. Their ambition to be a dominant player in the global battery market is an excellent match for AVZ given the size of Manono. The continued level of interest we are seeing in the Company following our recent record drill results, confirms once again the Manono Lithium Project as a world-class asset.”
AVZ also advises that discussions with other memoranda of understanding parties, Guangzhou Tinci Materials Technology Co. and Shanghai GreatPower Industry Co. remain ongoing.

But when you know you will get royally fucked over if you take the next step, why pay 300k for the privilege

and if you believe that some of the people behind MMCS are the very same players AVZ is dealing with in positions of responsibility, you can understand why they backed off in a hurry. But fuck, their ploy very nearly worked by refusing to pay for COMINIERE legal representation.

I think this will become a common theme at ICC - look forward to it

$300k is beer money for Zijin, worth it for them to pay and delay regardless, call it a tax deduction.....;)

However, pride and not "losing face " is a different matter altogether.
