I realized today what we are all waiting for . We are waiting to find out if The President of the DRC Felix is as corrupt as the people he employs .
Quite possibly is.

What is definite is that he is your stock standard politician who's only concern is getting reelected.

Sama II: Vital Kamerhe and JP Bemba, two jokers to save Felix Tshisekedi's mandate!

Nine months before the elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo, two leaders of political parties decide to put on the jersey of the central executive and join the Sama Lukonde II team.

These are two former candidates for President of the Republic appointed Deputy Prime Ministers, namely Vital Kamerhe and Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo.

The first is ground to improve the social, while the second masters the intricacies of defense and security.

Two sectors that are floundering and struggling to take off since the beginning of the Félix Tshisekedi era.

Are they Jokers recruited at the last minute to save Felix Tshisekedi's mandate?

Obviously, they have this role to play in this election year to convince the population to grant a second term to Felix Tshisekedi.

Retrograde functions!

The last position held by Jean-Pierre Bemba in the Democratic Republic of Congo is that of Vice-President of the Republic.

As for Kamerhe, he is the chief of staff of the head of state.

Appointed ministers, they are actually demoted, especially since they are former candidates for President of the Republic.

Moreover, polls made them rather prime ministers to replace Sama Lukonde.

But as for the positions they currently occupy, no one saw them coming.

Vital Kamerhe Vpm for the Economy and Jean-Pierre Bemba Vpm for National Defence, this is a surprise for the Congolese political class.

Is this a mistake or a political strategy for the current President of the Republic?

Have Kamerhe and Bemba abandoned their ambitions to be elected to the supreme magistracy?

How will the collaboration between these caciques of the Sacred Union and the current Prime Minister be?

So many questions that the public is asking.

Sama II: 5 ministers leave the government, 12 join the new team, 16 women appointed

After nearly three months of suspense, the Sama Lukonde II government, which has 58 members, is finally here.

They are a total of 5 now ex-ministers to leave the government after the reshuffle unveiled in the early hours of Friday, March 24 on the antennas of the Congolese National Radio and Television (Rtnc) by the spokesperson for the President of the Republic, Tina Salama.

They are Daniel Aselo, replaced in the Interior by Peter Kazadi; Jean-Jacques Mbungani replaced in Public Health by Kamba Mulamba; Serge Nkonde who saw his place be ceded to François Kabulo Mwana Kabulo in Sports, Gisèle Ndaya replaced in Gender by Masangu Bibi, Modero Nsimba and finally Amato Bayibasire.

Other members of the Sama Lukonde I government have been reappointed, others swapped and some promoted.

Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo, Vital Kamerhe, Peter Kazadi, Christophe Lutundula and Jean-Pierre Lihau have all been appointed deputy prime ministers.

A total of 12 ministers have joined the new government team Sama II.

They are Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo, Vital Kamerhe, Peter Kazadi Kankonde, Antipas Mbusa Nyamuisi, Suminwa Judith, Kamba Mulamba, Nzinga Désiré, Masangu Bibi, Kabulo Mwana Kabulo François, Mambu Lau, Olene Serge, Moleka Wivine.

Of the 58 members therefore, 16 women have been appointed to the new government team.

Four as Ministers of State, seven as Ministers and five as Deputy Ministers.

They are Bazaiba Masudi Eve, Mutombo Kiesse Rose, Kayinda Adèle, Judith Suminwa, Claudine Ndusi, Antoinette N'samba, Bibi Masangu, Antoinette Kipulu, Catherine Katungu Furaha, Manuanina, Irène Esambo, O'neige Nsele, Aminata Namasia, Wivine Moleka and Seraphine Kilubu.

Sama 2 government: "finished the desacralization of state functions, the best of us are at the maneuver" (Billy Kambale)

After the publication of the Sama 2 government, the reactions are only falling.

For the Secretary General of the Union for the Congolese Nation (UNC), Billy Kambale, the establishment of this government signals the end of the desacralization of state functions.

Because, he says, the best of us are on the move.

Following some criticism from some people against Kamerhe and Bemba who have agreed to put aside their ambitions to join the Sama 2 government, Billy Kambale responds in these terms:

"It's called a statesman, they have the ambition and not the obsession with power, because having a course and a background, even a bailiff, they will take it without hesitation because they know what to do with it", wrote Billy Kambale.

It should be noted that some heavyweights of Congolese politics joined the Sama 2 government, in particular Bemba, Kamerhe and Nyamwisi.

So the government reshuffle finally comes round and what happens, fuck all basically.

Honestly just looks like another stunt from the DRC government.

The mere fact that proven corrupt ministers have remained in their position says it all imo.

Remains to be seen what good if any will come of this, seem like nothing more than fatshi making sure he is re-elected!

Hi Oz,

At first looks, yes it does look very disappointing that major changes haven't occurred in the reshuffle. But let's see what happens in the next few days/ or week where we are at. None of us know what has been said to the Ministers or what change of minds they have had!

All the reports we have been hearing lately have been positive - it is happening!
So let's wait and see.

F.ck we must be close......

Cheers,

I’m afraid that’s the way it is over there Oz

A few weeks back some on here suggested advertising on a billboard in the DRC but the idea didn’t get any traction for various reasons. I’ve come up with my own headlines for THE VUKA GROUP’S DRC MINING WEEK events where Zigin has two representatives speaking and is a sponsor at the June event in Lubumbashi

Felix and the Government have a choice…. Get Zigin out of Dathcom or see how much more information shareholders here have got and how much we are prepared to share

Zigin in Fraudulent Attempt to Extort $120 Million Dollars from Dathcom’s Manono Lithium Mine

After being exposed in extortion attempt of $120 Million Dollars of Dathcom shares, Zigin attempts to blackmail Dathcom in a letter to Dathcom shareholders

Chinese Companies and Embassy send letter to the President insulting the Inspector General of Finance after Jules Alingete declares illegal sale of shares in Dathcom by Cominiere to Zigin

Director General and Technical Director of Cominiere involved in fraudulent sale of Dathcom shares to Zigin charged and sent to prison

New acting Managing Director of Cominiere caught lying about AVZ in televised interview

Etc Etc….

PS How come Oz is the only one gets kisses Nell’s

Hey Nells

I've always been one to give the benefit of doubt, so it would seem all we can do is simply wait even more...

Its just such a slow process for anything over there going off the track record so far which is obviously extremely frustrating for all of us involved, here's hoping we do indeed see a conclusion to this soon.

Yeah money there's absolutely no way he doesn't have knowledge of whats going on, it seems he's keeping himself distant from it all for deniability of any corrupt involvement so he aeems clean for re-election.

Its for sure a sad state of affairs over there, all the fuckers at the top selling out their country for a few peanuts.

Another reason its in the chinese interest to stop us is that AVZs ethical development of the mine would be seen by all and would raise more questions as to why the chinese don't do the same and give back to the community and development of the local area. Which would in turn make them look even worse than they already are and clearly they dont want that!!

The talk of checks and balances actually made me laugh

Tshisekedi has appointed the country's former vice president Jean-Pierre Bemba, who was detained for over 10 years for war crimes, as the country's defence minister

Tshisekedi appointed Vital Kamerhe, his former chief of staff who was released from prison in Dec. 2021 following as embezzlement conviction, as economy minister.

I wonder what his next move might be. Potentially move Adele Kayinda to head up the IGF?

Very good mate. A couple of things I would note though is that your 3 points at the end to highlight, the first 2 of them have already been highlighted in previous executions. The third is telling a different story to what was exposed in the two posts by Roon and Bin above.

The other thing is Roon's post whilst damning, contains a lot of speculative accusations.

We need to be real sure and have the proof to back it up if we are going to try take him down. Can't just accuse him of being a corrupt rat because he appears to be. Obviously there seems to be his prints and signature all over a few documents so that's a start but what about the interview itself. He seems to not know what's going on or have any facts straight. That's a big problem if you are MD of a company. Maybe there's more in there?
Find that video where Felix says ‘show me the evidence’ make a poster of that and list the evidence. He says one thing, does another.

Checks and balances is bullshit. You do that before publically announcing your new ministry NOT after.

Checks and balances are done and he's made his choice. He's not going to swap someone out straight after announcing them.
